Short, but Just something that I decided to sum up, for the fun of it.

Femme's and Gentlemech's, I present to you,

10 steps on: How to be a Ratchet!

Step 1: Wrenches. Know exactly what wrenches you'll need for the job. Will it be a small one, or one big enough to dent a 'Bots helm? Have them all, just in case! Always carry one with you, Everywhere. You never know when you'll need it!

Step 2: Science! DocBot loves science, anything and everything about it! Learn all you can about Cybertronian anatomy and medical practices, and maybe you'll be able to start coming close to Ratchet's passion for it all!

Step 3: "I needed that!" Remember that single phrase! It's likely to be the most important thing you will ever say. Someone break the synthesizer? "I needed that!", Someone crush your tool box? "I needed that!", Wheeljack blow up the Groundbridge? "Wheeljack. . . We needed that."

Step 4: Sassy, unmatchable attitude that everyone somehow tolerates. Ohhh, yes. Nobody can come close to the level of salt Ratchet uses on his words! It's so salty, it puts sodium to shame! Practice makes perfect, and when it comes to sassy remarks, or random medical and safety lectures, Ratchet is the one 'Bot you can't beat.

Step 5: Displaying emotions. Hide all your feelings away and be a complete and utter tsundere! Someone compliment you? "Pff... Whatever", someone close to you get injured? "I'll see what I can do...", Optimus returns to base covered in scorch marks? Smack him on the helm and give him a nice, long lecture on safety! "That was wreckless! You could have been blown to smithereens! I swear, I'm the only one who thinks about safety around here..."

Step 6: Recharge Is for the weak. Work work work, that's all that matters. Synthetic Energon still needs perfecting? No time for rest. Energon deposits needing to be located? No time for rest! Optimus picking you up and locking you in your berth room so you can recharge despite your angry protests and attempts to resist? Alright... Maybe just for a little bit. But then back to work the moment I wake up!

Step 7: Establishing your one and only fear. S c r a p l e t s. Ohhh, little demons straight from the Pits! Nope nope nope! One eating at the terminal wires? Smack it with a pole, but keep your distance of course! A whole army of them enter the base? : Optimus, we have a problem. Get back here. NOW!: - ;I am currently occupied- what is the prob-; - :O P T I M U S S A V E M E! T H E Y 'R E E V E R Y W H E R E!: Close the Comm link and run for all you're worth! Scraplets are a big no-go.

Step 8: Secretly care. To everyone, you are grumpy and cold-sparked. But inside, you really do care, you just don't want to show it. Only Optimus knows, and he's the only one who can know. Bumblebee being cute as scrap but annoying you? Wrench to the helm! He starts whirring sadly? Regret it, but don't show it. No room for weakness! But when you're alone, curl into a ball and cry because you hurt a small innocent little Bumble. Wheeljack call you 'Doc' or 'Sunshine' after you told him not too? Break out the wrenches baby! Chase him around the base till he's begging for mercy! Keep a steel-stoic face, but inside, be happy he cares enough to tease you playfully and give you a break from work you forgot about.

Step 9: My pistons may be rusty, but my hearing is sharp as ever! Nobody gets to talk down on you just for your age or lack of battlefield experience. "Didn't know you could fight like that back there." Throw the wrench! "You can fight?" Throw. The. Wrench. Anyone talk scrap about you? Wrenches, wrenches, wrenches! Bring on the Wrench-pocalypse and let all of Hell break loose!

Finally

Step 10: Never doubt yourself. Have a habit of thinking you're not important? Guess what. Team Prime would never be the same without you! Wish you could do more? You're only confined to base because you are important, and you are needed on standby if medical attention is required. Accept it, and when you do, you'll feel better about it all.

Oh Ratchet, we all love you. Grumpiness and everything!
