Chapter 9 : The Rightful Path?

You recognized the voices, and slowly turning your head back, along with Rita doing the same.

Standing opposite with you two, is two familiar figures, Theresa and Mei.

"... So... We have met again." - You said, while looking at them.

Then you turn your body to them.

"Captain..."

"..." - You turning you face away, to somewhere else so you won't have to look at them much. "How's Hyperion? I heard it got into many mess." - You asked them.

"... Everyone's good. The Hyperion is still moving on... The work is still continue... Everyone's still doing the same... But..... Everything isn't like before anymore..." - Theresa saying.

"... I see." - You said.

"Captain... I... We... Made a wrong decision... Right?" - Mei asking.

"... I believe the 'decision' you guys made wasn't 'wrong', but it's neither 'right'."

"And besides... This is the 'path' i've chosen. Even i don't know if this is a 'rightful path', or it's just a 'wrongful path'." - You saying, and letting out a long sigh.

"... So... Captain... We have made a wrongful decision to you... And we didn't even think about it carefully... We got our emotions in our actions..." - Theresa saying, and slowly walking towards you.

You looking at the white haired loli walking towards you.

"... There are things... That nothing can bring it back. And the 'trust' i have for you guys are gone. Forever." - You saying.

Theresa stopped stepping towards you. And looking down.

"... But... This doesn't mean i've cut the connection between us. Right?" - You said, and looking at her, with Mei behind her. Then looking to Rita, who is smiling satisfying to you, you also smiles to her as well.

"..." - Theresa looking at you, you can see she wanted to cry.

"And... To be honest. Can i pat your head? Theresa?" - You said, then smiles slightly, closing your eyes to her.

Without saying a word, Theresa rushed right to you and hugs you.

"Woah... There there..." - You patting Theresa's head.

While remembering the first time you tried to pat your head.

You seeing Theresa is sitting on a chair, reading comic.

"..." - You sneak behind her, then slowly, patting her head.

"Ahh!! Sorry, i just wanted to pat your head... You looked cute...?" - You saying.

"Eh? Ah... I understand, but don't pat my head! I can't grow!" - She said, and pouting.

"Ah... Sorry... Um... I get it, i get it. I'll buy you a Homu comic this weekend." - You saying.

"Yay!!" - She smiles again.

You're patting her head, without having any compliment from her.

"Is it okay to pat your head now?" - You asking her.

"Just this time... It's fine..."

"I see." - You saying, then looking to Mei. "And... Mei?"
