"Godammnit! What the hell are you saying? Have you lost your mind?!" Gavin yelled at me. I apparently freaked out too much and told Gav in the morning including the family. Shey looked shocked just as everyone else. Nice acting Shey. I thought. But I think I zoned because the next thing I know is Gavin snapping fingers inches away from my face.
I shake my head, "No, I haven't lost my mind! That woman! That woman is a snake being! I had a bad feeling as soon as I saw her! The other day when you were attacked by a snake! The only person to hear you screams was Shey! Why is that? It must be linked to her!"
"Just because a phony book says that, it doesn't mean it's true! I couldn't scream that well because I was tired enough! Shey was there to save me!," his voice a bit raised at the end, "And as for you, you are listening to a book who's author is dead! Dead! Besides, Sapphires cannot be combined with Ameythysts! There is no way!" pointing at me, I felt broken. He was supporting a woman who he only knew for three days.......
"It's not phony! It's true! Last night when you were sleeping, I heard weird incantations coming from Shey's room and---"
"So you have been eavesdropping?! Those "incantations", She air-quoted, "Were arabic prayers! Not weird witchcraft!" Shey glared at me. I opened my mouth to say something but closed it knowing these people won't listen. I start up the stairs but stopped to look at all of them one more time. Knowing that I was frowning, I saw Gavin furious, Xavier, and Rebecca shocked, and Shey..... smirking? I must've had a trauma or something because why the hell is that thing smirking? I glare back at Gavin for 10 seconds or so and then I leave.
I slam open the door to my room and let myself fall into bed. Taking off my slippers, I stare at the cream colored ceiling. "Why won't anyone believe me? There is something wrong with Shey. She isn't ordinary."
"You're right. I am not ordinary at all." I whipped my head around so fast that I think I cracked my neck. I should've guessed, Shey was on my tail.
I furrow my eyebrows, " What do you want? Wasn't acting and attacking me enough for your thirsty ass?" She smirked that ugly smirk.
"Oh of course not, those are only baby steps, Justine. I have more up my sleeve." She sneered.
"Shey, I ask again, what do you want?"
"I guess, I should drown you and then save you to become a hero." She touched her chin as if thinking hard. Acting.
" I ask you one more time. What. Do. You. Want?" My paitence was wearing thin.
"One simple thing......." She replied.
"And what is that?" I raise my brow at her. Knowing that she is not up to any good.
She stayed quiet for awhile, just wondering.
"Your death......"
