The Older Brother

chapter 6 I am his part 2

"Step back little brother!" Sesshomarus eyes once again glowing red. Inuyasha froze his body stopped before he could even think about what he was doing.

Inuyashas eyes searched Kagomes neck quickly spotting all the proof he needed. The bite on her neck. The overwhelming smell of Sesshomaru on Kagome. How had he missed this before. Inuyasha stepped back his teeth clenched as a low growl escape his lips.

Shippo hugged Kagomes leg. "Does this mean you going to leave us Kagome." He whined still holding her leg.

"Oh shipp-" Kagome was cut off by a very excited Rin.

"LORD SESSHOMARU!" Rin cheered running up to Sesshomaru.

Jaken not far behind her "m' lord" he said happily before stopping suddenly when he noticed how close his master was to the priestess. "Why is that human so close" the small green demon sneered.

Sesshomarus glaired at the small demon. "Watch you it mouth when addressing my mate." Sesshomarus snapped, his word was law and the demon shut his mouth. Jaken had many questions but decided to keep his mouth closed in fear of being punished.

"Kagome!" Shippo whimpered looke at Kagome with wide eyes.

Kagome looked at Sesshomaru with pleading eyes. He gave a soft smile along with a small nod. Kagomes face lit up as she looked to the small fox demon. "Shippo we will still be looking for the jewel but we won't always be with everyone . You can come with us if you want Shippo."

The young demon was delighted to be asked to join and he very much enjoyed playing with Rin. "Really you mean it!!"

Kagome nodded with a smile. Sesshomaru placed a hand on Kagomes hip earning her attention. He nodded towards a still very frustrated Inuyasha indicating that he was waiting to finish the conversation. Kagome looked at Sesshomaru, "let me do this, please?" She asked in a soft voice her eyes pleading with a hint of confidence.  Sesshomaru sighed glancing at Inuyasha then back to the young priestess. His jaw tightened but but he gave a small nod.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome then Sesshomaru not pleased with the situation. Kagome gave Inuyasha a small smile before  signaling the half demon to follow and walking away from the group. Sango and Miroku stood there listening and watching taking the whole encounter in. "That was unexpected" the monk whispered to the demon slayer. Sango just smiled at him.

"What the hell Kagome" Inuyasha immediately questioned the reincarnated priestess as soon as they were far enough away from the group.

"Inuyasha I can't always come in second to Kikyo, you loved her. You still do. I have spent more and more time with Sesshomaru and I love him. He is kind and he cares about me in a way you can't. I don't know when I started to fall in love with him. Once I started to fall I couldn't stop." She said looking him in the eye with a caring expression and a hint of pity.

Inuyasha opened his mouth to argue but nothing came out. Furious with his lack of ability to argue Inuyasha let out a yell punching a tree next to him. A few drops of blood dropped from his knuckle to the ground.

"I'm going leave now we will meat back with you later with any jewel shards we find." Kagome said before turning to walk away. Inuyashas head was down his hair covering his eyes, he said nothing as Kagome walked away.

SORRY SORRY I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY WITH MY DIVORCE I KNOW THIS IS A SHORT CHAPTER AGAIN BUT I WAS THINKING A SHORT WAS QAS BETTER THEN WAITING LONGER BECAUSE AFTER THIS IM NOT SURE WHERE IM GOING WITH THIS LOL
