MORE THAN FRIENDS/BENNY RODRIGUEZ/SEQUEL TO CLOSER THAN ENEMIES/

4/ Deja Vu with him and you/

We finally get to my house after a long and calm walk. I rush upstairs excited but I get stopped by Camilla, "Jasmine," she's sighs, I feel it in my gut,

"Listen, I only fought her because she hit Benny you know I wouldn't have done it other wise." Camilla nods and hugs me,

"And that's what I wanted to thank you for, I wouldn't want any other girl for my brother, you protected him like any person should when there in love and he protected you. So thank you," I nod and smile. "Now get your beautiful self upstairs and change." I nod and smile while running past Camilla. The girls following me, they throw a really pretty sun dress at me and some heels, wedges to be exact. I sigh and change into the clothes then Angelina pulls me into my desk chair. She puts a bunch of make up in front of me and a curling iron. I giggle and pull her into a hug. We pull away and she smiles sweetly,

"What was that for?" I shrug.

"Thank you for helping me." She nods then the other two girls walk into the room holding chips and drinks, they toss them onto my bed and I rush to pull them into a hug as well, they have the same reaction as Angelina,

"What-" I shush them and smile.

"Because you guys are the best and I couldn't ask for better." They pout and pull me in for one more hug with Angelina.

"Friends forever" Marissa whispers. We all agree as they push me back into the chair and start on my makeup and hair. We chat up and then time flies by. They finish my hair last and we quickly gather our things and me being me I  forget my sweater. We run in the middle of the street like wild childs, then our group slowly starts getting bigger, as the sandlot boys join, my eyes connect with Benny's. I smile and continue to run,

BENNY'S POV

The boy's and I join Jasmine and the other girls running in the street, she looks amazing, her eyes are glimmering in the moonlight and her smile is lighting up the night sky, she's beautiful, then we make eye contact, I smile and she shared one back. She turns back towards the street in front of her but I don't take my eyes off her, before I know it, her being clumsy trips on her other foot and stumbles forward, I run towards her and grabs her waist gently, she gasps squeezing her eyes shut and preparing for a hard landing, I chuckle and watch her cute little button nose unscrunch and her eyes slowly open, she turns towards me slowly and gives me a tiny smile, "thank you Benny." I feel butterflies whenever she says my name, I nod and slowly let go of her waist. Without even realizing it me and Jasmine are alone. The group didn't notice us stopping, Jasmine laughs and gently shoves me, "think they'll notice?" I shake my head and laugh,

"I bet they get on the rides without even noticing." She smiles and looks down twiddling her fingers, she looks up abruptly and sighs,

"Benny I still lov-" in seconds Jasmine's on the ground she doesn't get to finish her sentence and everything goes down hill, I look to see who's on top of her and it's one of Amanda's sisters friends, then they all jump in, I run to go break it up but multiple arms grab mine, it's pitch black so I can't see what's happening until I come face to face with Carter,

"Pay backs a pain," without another word his fist connects to my jaw and I fall to the floor, the guys holding me throw me down as Carter kicks me and beat the living hell out of me, I watch Jasmine scream for help, there gonna kill her if I don't stop them, as my consciousness fades in and out I stand up, only to get pushed back down, "where you think your going Benny boy?" Carter grabs me by the hair and points my head towards Jasmine and the girls jumping her, "let's enjoy the show."

JASMINE'S POV

I feel blood dripping down from everywhere I can't even comprehend what is happening to me as I get hit from every side of me, I can barely see Benny but I know he's watching by force, I'm gonna die and the love of my life is gonna watch it happen. I feel my body start giving out as I get another hit to the face, then head lights shine on us, I hear tired screech as the group of girls drop me, then multiple doors close, some screaming occurs and then more tire screeching, I attempt to open my eyes but they only open a little bit, then I fade out.

MARISSA'S POV

After getting our tickets I realize Jasmine and Benny aren't here, I smirk knowing they are getting that connection again, until Jordan runs up to me frantically, "BENNY AND MY SISTER JUST GOT JUMPED!!" I gasp and try and comprehend what he's saying but before I can he pulls me away, everyone follows us as we run to the hospital, I feel a feeling in my gut that it's bad, we run until we arrive as my feet begin to hurt but I push the feeling behind me and we run into the waiting room, there stands Brian and Benny's Mom and sister, everyone is sobbing and Brian's trying to hold the tears back, then Jordan breaks down, there's blood all over Brian's white shirt, I ease drop onto Jordan's and Brian's conversation, "how bad is it Brian?" I can hear the pain in his voice, that's his twin sister. Brian tries to lie but he can't,

"It's really bad Jordan," that's when Brian breaks down sobbing, then a nurse comes out and everyone freezes,

"Hi is everyone here family?" We all nod and she looks at us all suspicious, "only immediate family can come in," we all scoff and argue,

"We all are immediate family." She sighs as she looks at all our tear stained faces and shrugs,

"Only because your kids." We all happily get up from the seats were in and walk down the hallway, we enter the room but the nurse comes to an unexpected stop. She turns around frantically and without any context she screams, "there gone!" We all push past and look in the room, I know exactly what they did. I elbow Jordan and point at the open window and then Jordan yells,

"To the sandlot!!" We all turn around and book it out of the hospital, we run until our legs get tired but even when they get tired it doesn't stop us. Then we see Jasmine and Benny laying on the floor counting stars. I giggle and yell,

"So this is where the two delinquents went." They look at us and laugh. I can tell they hurt Jasmine really bad, she can't even get up on her own. I'm gonna get them back, Benny gently helps Jasmine up and they walk over to us,

JASMINE'S POV

We walk over to our friends and family and sigh, "so who wants to hear the story?"

An hour passes and we finish our story, everybody was so interested, then they all burst out with things to say,

"Your like Bonnie and Clyde!" "You guys are partners in crime." "You guys are perfect!" I giggle at all they are saying then they all get lost in there own conversations, I feel someone tug on my hand, I turn and of course it's Benny, I smile and we walk over to the dug out, I sit down first and he sits down next to me,

"Listen Jasmine, I know you just got home and me and Amanda just broke up but I've been in love with you and have never stopped loving yu so I was wondering if you maybe wanted to be my girlfriend again?" I smile and nod, he raises his eyebrows and smiles, "Seriously??" I nod and he pulls me into a giant hug. He picks me up bridal style and runs out to the rest of the group, "SHE SAID YES!!" They all look at us weird until they realize what's happening. Then they all ambush us with hugs and good wishes. I yawn trying to not let Benny see but he's good at catching things like this. "It's time for night night huh?" I nod shyly and he smiles planting a kiss on my cheek, "then let's go home." Everyone follows without having to be told what is happening, I pout sadly because we missed the fair but I got something way better in return, I got my baseball boy.
