We all go back to the house and catch up. And everything seems almost normal again.

Me and Duke have been dating for a few months now and i'm not sure how he feels about doing the thing ya know and i think i'm kinda acting a bit wierd and he seems to be noticing. Today we were kissing and i pulled back and he asked what? I didn't know what to respond with. We went out on a date to one of the only few restaurants open after the comet as everyone's that survives trying to get back on their feet. At the dinner he randomly got up and started to make a speech.
'Y/n you've been a part of my life for a while now and i can't help but to fall for you every single day. Everyday i see you and fall further in love with you. The moment I saw you for the very first time will be stuck into my memory till the end of the days because it was the day when the course of my life radically changed its direction. I remember you standing in the doorway surprised to see me. And the time i truly met you over text and facetime. I remember at that time that was the only thing i looked forward to in those days. So basically what i'm trying to say is,' He gets down onto one knee and pulls out a box with two beautiful quite simple wedding rings and says, 'Will you marry me? And i know these are wedding rings but i never saw the point of engagement rings and i know how you always lose things so i thought i would reduce the amount of things you could lose-

'Duke, shut up. Yes I do. I will. I love you so much.'
I wrap my arms around him and he kisses the top of my head.
