The smell of the wind whipping around her, carrying the scents of the forest.
The feeling of grass between her toes.
The overwhelming height of the trees.
The sound of running water in the distance.
It took everything in her not to run to the nearest tree and start to climb or sprint as fast as she could into the near field. The calm yet massive smile on her face seemed to become etched into her features as she slowly turned around in circles, eating up all the sights around her.
"Indie... it has been too long, yes?" Pietro gently grasped her hands in his own and focused his bright baby blues into her sea greens to make her really look at him. Wanda reached out and placed her hands on their arms, letting this feeling of freedom fill them up inside. A sudden burst of laughter bubbled in Indie's chest from the pure joy of being outside. She let it out causing them all to chuckle at this new found feeling.
Freedom.
Without realizing it, tears had been flowing down her cheeks. She reached to wipe them away, letting the adrenaline leave her body. Her mind began to race, and she wasn't sure how long they had just been standing around in the middle of this random forest in God knows where with God knows who ready and willing to shoot on sight.
The smile slowly fell from her face as this thought took over any and every peaceful feeling in her mind.
"What do we do now?"

Indie marveled at the bed sitting in front of her, surrounded by the plain dresser and desk in the dusty room. The foggy window above the bed cast the only light into the room from the daylight outside. It was perfect. And it was all hers.
"So this is the famous Indie?" Ultron's grating metallic voice drilled into her head. It took every ounce of her self control not to jump out of her skin around him, although she supposed the decade of abuse from HYDRA made that very difficult. Luckily, she has great practice at clearing her mind so her thoughts can't betray her for Wanda to find.
Indie turned around to face Ultron, his metal bald head brushing against the ceiling.
"Why is he so freaking tall?"
Ultron let out a low chuckle and it was only then that she realized she had said that out loud. Oops.
He walked towards her and she immediately thought "this is the story of how I died" only for Ultron to grab her super stylin' bracelets and snap them off. The raw red skin underneath the blocker shackles shone in the dim light from the window and all she could do was stare at it. She tentatively and every so gently touched the ring with her opposing hand's fingertips. She had never felt something so smooth and yet so full of pain.
"I can't wait to see these magnificent powers of yours in action. Let's hope you do not disappoint," he spoke as he stooped to leave the room.
Wanda beamed at her as he walked away and said, "let us go find you some proper clothes, shall we?" She offered, gently rubbing the plain black shirt in between her fingers.
Indie hadn't realized she had literally grabbed zero extra pieces of clothing before reminding herself that she had literally zero clothing to call her own to even take. She vigorously nodded, almost skipping out of the room arm in arm with Wanda, ready to take on the world.
