"I can read him. He is... dreaming." The dreamy look in Wanda's eyes makes Pietro so calm. His sister truly brings out the best in him, making Indie wonder what life will be like after this is over. What's the goal? Kill the Avengers? Or the real question Indie is too terrified to ask and she doesn't know why: kill the Winter Solider?
Indie becomes so lost in thought, per usual, she doesn't realize she's staring at Pietro, making him smirk. He opens his mouth to speak but is interrupted by Wanda crying out in pain. Indie and Pietro were so busy making eyes at each other that neither of them realized she had approached and subsequently touched the Cradle housing Ultron's human-but-not-really-human-at-all body.
"You said... you said we were going to destroy the Avengers... make a better world!" Wanda cried, shrinking into Pietro's body as he hugged her. He was so gentle with her. Although it wasn't the time, Indie couldn't help but melt a little. Hormones she supposed.
"It will be."
"When everyone is dead?" That answered Indie's terrifying question.
"That is not... the human race will have every oppurtunity to improve!" Ultron looked exasperated, even for a robot.
"And if they don't?" Indie could just feel the dread in her voice.
"Ask Noah," he replied matter-of-factly. Pietro paled as he looked at Wanda, their twin telepathy in overdrive. Indie really wished she could read them like Julia right now. She really wished she had Julia right now.

"So I am hearing you correctly? You want to go join the Avengers? The people we just tried to kill who also just tried to kill us?"
"Not to mention the people who killed our family!" Pietro's voice grew louder as he said these words, the desperation in his eyes making Indie want to just hug him.
Trying to save the world from an evil mass murdering robot? Easy. Dealing with her feelings for Pietro who she's always thought of as a brother? The most difficult thing in the world.
"It is not that simple and you know it. We have to help them defeat him. It is bigger than us now," Wanda explained gently, soothing her brother. You could visibly tell he was upset with the prospect of working along side Tony Stark but they had no other choice.
"Well let's get a move on kiddos, we don't have all day!"
"Indie, you are barely 20 and you want to call us kiddos?" Pietro snorted at the thought.
"Just trying to diffuse the tension," she replied with a shrug, hauling her back over her shoulder and walking out of their temporary living situation. Onto bigger and better things, she hoped.

As the beaten and bruised (though they'd never admit it) wobble up the steps of the farm house Clint brought them to, Bucky can't help but feel a sense of home and belonging. It's ironic considering he grew up in Brooklyn, but he couldn't shake the feeling that grew inside him as soon as he left the jet.
As they filed into the house, Bucky saw Clint's face brighten up as he saw a very pregnant woman walk into the room.
"This... is an agent of some kind," Tony stumbled on his words as this came out of his mouth, all of the Avengers staring in shock as Clint went forward to embrace her.
