Land of Waves

Third Person's POV

As they went under a tunnel, they finally reached the Land of Waves. The place was surrounded with water and everything looked calm and peaceful. They reached land and made their way to Tazuna's home. Naruto looked around and sensed a strange chakra, he took his kunai and threw it at the bush to his left surprising the others, only to reveal a scared white bunny
"What was that about Naruto?!" Sakura asked furiously
"Sorry! I didn't know!" Naruto said as he craddled the scared bunny in his arms trying to calm it down, 'I swear I sensed a strong demonic chakra here..' Naruto thought, Kakashi looked at the bunny in Naruto's arms, 'It looks like it was raised indoors.. could it be..' he thought as he held his chin. Then realization both hit Naruto and Kakashi, 'A substitution?' they both thought.

Then a large sword shaped like a butcher knife was thrown at them, Kakashi noticed and shouted
"Get down!" the others ducked in an instant and the bunny ran away, the sword hit the tree and soon after a man who had a bandage covering his nose, mouth, and neck stood on its long hilt, his back facing the others. Team 7 and Tazuna looked at the man with wide eyes, except for Kakashi and Sasuke who had a serious face and Naruto who furrowed his brows. 'This is the chakra I felt!' he thought,
"I'm here for the old man, so I suggest you hand him over" the man said
"Sorry, but we can't agree to that" Kakashi said, 'If he'll be our opponent then I have no choice'  Kakashi thought as he pulled up his forehead protector covering his left eye, revealing the Sharingan. 'Ohh.. the Sharingan! It's my first time seeing it in person' Naruto thought, 'The Sharingan? Why does he have it?' Sasuke thought, the man glanced at his back
"I assume you are the Copy Ninja Kakashi. Said to have copied over 1,000 justu's. You were in the Bingo book of Kiri" the man said
"You must be Momochi Zabuza, a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, also known as the Demon of the Mist" Kakashi stated, Zabuza chuckled
"It's an honor to see the Sharingan in action" he said, he jumped to the nearby lake and did a stance

"Kiri Gakure no Jutsu (Hiding Mist Technique)" Zabuza said as a thick mist enveloped the area
"Manji formation!" Kakashi commanded as Team 7 surrounded Tazuna to protect him. There was a deafening silence around them, Kakashi explained to them about his silent killing methods. Sasuke started shaking from feeling the killing intent from the Jonin and the Rogue Ninja.
"Sasuke" Kakashi called, Sasuke looked at him then Kakashi gave him an eye smile
"I'll protect you guys. No matter what" Kakashi said reassuring his Genin
"Oh.. I wonder about that" Zabuza said as he appeared inside the Manji formation. Kakashi immediately shunshined to Zabuza and stabbed him, only for him to turn into water,
"Oh.. so you've seen through my Mizu Bunshin (Water Clone) huh?" Zabuza said as he appeared behind Kakashi and stabbed him. Only for Kakashi to burst into water, the real Kakashi appeared behind Zabuza and held the kunai to his throat
"It's over now" Kakashi stated, 'So he copied my technique during that time huh?' Zabuza thought as he remembered the moment he did the Hidden Mist technique and did the Water Clone technique at the same time. He only smirked as he burst into water. 'Mizu Bunshin?' Kakashi thought as Zabuza appeared behind him and smirked
"Now it's over" he said as he swung his sword as Kakashi retreated to the nearby lake. He rose to the water's surface and gasped for air only to feel a bit heavy as he was floating, 'This water is dense.. don't tell me-!' he thought, but was too late when Zabuza appeared next to him and did a few hand signs creating a bubble out of the water trapping Kakashi

"Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)" Zabuza said, he chuckled slightly and created a Water Clone to attack the remaining Genin.
"Now it's your turn" Zabuza's clone said as he looked at the Genin letting out his killing intent.
"All of you, take Tazuna-san and run! You're no match for him! It was over the moment I was trapped!" Kakashi yelled to his Genin. Sakura was shaking out of fear while Sasuke had wide eyes confused on what to do, he clicked his tongue and exhaled slowly
"Let's escape while we can, we must complete the mission" Sasuke said, Sakura nodded slowly while Tazuna stayed quiet
"No" Naruto said making them turn their heads to him
"We have to! You can't beat him!" Sakura said,
"Remember what Kakashi-sensei told us?" Naruto asked, he looked at Zabuza with furrowed brows
"Those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum!" Naruto claimed as Sasuke and Sakura looked at him with wide eyes, Naruto turned to Tazuna
"Is it alright old man?" he asked permission, Tazuna just smirked and sat down cross-legged
"Go on. Save your sensei" Naruto smiled and turned back to Zabuza

"Be careful kit" Kurama warned, Naruto grinned as he tightened the tie of his forehead protector, 'I will!' he thought to reassure Kurama

"Sasuke! I have a plan!" Naruto said to Sasuke, Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the blonde ninja
"Even if you do, you can't beat me. You're not even ninja" Zabuza mocked as he started talking about how they were trained in Kirigakure and when you kill people that's when you become a Shinobi. Naruto made a sign and said
"Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" then about 50 clones of Naruto appeared, they ganged up on Zabuza's clone but he used his sword to forcefully push away the shadow clones, as the clones slowly dispelled Naruto took out a huge shuriken from his bag and threw it at Sasuke
"Sasuke!" Sasuke noticed and caught the shuriken, 'I see, so this is your plan!' he thought as he did a 360 and opened the large shuriken

"Fuuma Shuriken, The Shadow Windmill" Sasuke said, Sakura squeeled at Sasuke saying he's cool and all, Naruto hoped that his plan would work. Zabuza scoffed
"A shuriken can't hit me" he said, Sasuke threw the shuriken aiming at Zabuza, the clone caught it at ease making Zabuza smirk but Zabuza saw another shuriken hiding in the other shuriken's shadow 'Kage Shuriken no Jutsu? (Shadow Shuriken Technique)' Zabuza thought, the shuriken was about to hit Zabuza but he jumped to dodge
"I told you, a shuriken can't hit me!" he said as he smirked, Sakura and Tazuna thought that there wasn't any hope, until Sasuke smirked, the shuriken that Zabuza dodged poofed and transformed into Naruto surprising Sakura, Tazuna, Kakashi, and even Zabuza.

Naruto threw a kunai at Zabuza, Zabuza moved away removing his hand from the water prison freeing Kakashi. He didn't completely dodge the kunai as it made a scratch on his cheek.
"You little brat!" he yelled furiously at Naruto, he was about to attack him but was stopped by Kakashi
"Your opponent is me" he said, then they both jumped away and had a ninjutsu battle. Zabuza does a few techniques with Kakashi predicting or copying them. Naruto swam to shore to avoid the fight. It came to an end when Kakashi beat Zabuza with the Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water release: Great Waterfall Technique) that Zabuza was supposed to use but Kakashi copied it and used it against him. Zabuza was sent to a tree hitting his back, Kakashi shunshined to him while the others ran to where they were.
"Now it's finally over" Kakashi said as he was about to kill Zabuza. Then 2 senbon hit his nape, blood came out and Zabuza collapsed to the ground.

Team 7 and Tazuna looked to where the senbon came from seeing a ninja with a mask standing on a tree.
"Thank you for wearing him down. I've been meaning to kill him for a while" the masked Shinobi said, Kakashi recognizing the look of the Shinobi as an Anbu of Kiri only looked at Zabuza's unconscious body, he crouched down and placed two fingers on his neck checking for a pulse. He shook his head slowly and stood up
"Well, he's all yours" Kakashi said as he stepped to the side to give way to the Anbu of Kiri. The Anbu jumped down to grab Zabuza's body, as he did he made a sign and disappeared in mist.

Kakashi covered his left eye with his forehead protector and turned to his Genin
"Okay, so shall we go on?" he asked with an eye smile, his Genin nodded and they went on walking. A few seconds later Kakashi collapsed
"Kakashi-sensei!"Naruto ran to his sensei's side to check on him followed by Sakura, Sasuke, and Tazuna. Kakashi didn't seem to be waking up so Naruto made 4 Shadow Clones, each Naruto took a side while the original held his back to carry Kakashi. Tazuna said his home was nearby so they rushed to his home instantly.

~A few kilometers away~

The Anbu of Kiri set Zabuza's body to the ground and took out a bag of tools, after doing their thing Zabuza instantly sat up and groaned
"That hurts.. you're as cruel as ever Haku.." he said as he cracked his neck, the Anbu or rather Haku giggled
"Not really" Zabuza turned to Haku
"Take off that mask, it's just us" Zabuza said
"Okay" Haku said as he took off his mask and smiled at Zabuza
"You're gonna have to rest for a week Zabuza-san"

Okay, I might update late again since exams is this week and we have PT's to do, soo yeaahh look forward to next chapter!
