First chapter! I'm so excited!
—————————
Y/N'S POV

My story is interesting to say the least. Everything in my life was perfect. I had the best parents any person could ask for. I had the perfect grades, but that's all due to my genius little brother, Barry. I was one of the most popular students growing up, but I couldn't even tell you why. I was just me, but I guess that's what people liked. In all honesty, I never cared about being popular. All I cared about were my genuine friends and my family.

Speaking of my family, there were a couple of students who would make fun of my little brother and bully him, just to try and tear him down. Barry would stand up to them whenever he noticed them being dicks to other kids. However, he never fully understood how to stand up for himself.

That's where I would jump in. If someone bullied my brother ... well let's just say that when I found out, they never bothered him again.

Our mother was murdered when I was 13 and Barry was 11. We know what we saw. A man running at the speed of light, circling our mother. We wanted to help her so badly, but what could we do? She didn't want us near him, and when we did try to help, our dad stopped us.

Our father was blamed for our mother's death, because the police obviously didn't believe us when we said that a man running at the speed of light killed her. He was sentenced to life at Iron Heights Prison, and was judged by practically every person in Central City.

After that night, a man named Joe West took us in and cared for us. His daughter, Iris West, has been there for us ever since that scarring night. They became our second family. However, that's not where our story ends. So much more has happened, including the impossible.

My name is Y/N Allen, and I am the fastest woman alive.

Y/N'S POV

Captain Singh sighed, obviously frustrated. "Can someone please tell me where Allen is?" I was quick to answer his question. "I'm sorry sir, I asked him to run an errand for me. I should have asked him to do it later." I said.

"You can't keep covering for your brother, Allen. If he isn't here now, I'm going to have to kick him off this investigation." Captain Singh told me sternly. I was about to reply when I heard a chorus of, 'sorry' 'excuse me' 'my bad.'

'He is such an idiot sometimes.' I thought to myself.

"Allen number two, want to explain to me why you're late today? And come up with a better excuse than car trouble. That one was particularly memorable. Want to tell me why?" Captain Singh asked.

"Because I do not own a car ..." Barry answered awkwardly. "I told you sir, I asked him to run an errand for me. Barry, do you have what I asked for?" I asked. He looked at me puzzled, before understanding that I was covering for his ass. Again.

"Uhh yeah, it's right um ..." He cleared his throat before digging into his coat pocket. He handed me a half eaten bar, making me give him a look that basically screamed, 'you're a serious idiot.'

"I had a few bites of it, um." He said, stuttering slightly.  "Just go look at the evidence." I told him. "Right." He said, before walking to the scene.

Barry took a minute to analyze the evidence, focusing on the tire marks imprinted on the ground.

"Getaway car's a Mustang Shelby GT500. Shelby's have a rear super-wide tire specific to that model. 12 inches with an asymmetrical thread." He explained. I simply shook my head with a smirk plastered onto my face. 'My little bro really is a genius,' I thought to myself.
