✿ Chapter 4 ✿

Uraraka's POV

   I was sitting in class, staring at my lap. I was slowly recovering from what had happened to me about a week ago. Tsu had helped me a lot, and I was thankful for such a wonderful friend.    

   As if the world decided it wanted to hate me, Aoyama and Deku walked through the doorway of the classroom, holding hands and having a friendly conversation. Their faces were brushed with a light pink as they giggled at one another. My eyebrows furrowed at the sight of them together. Of course Aoyama would take the advantage of me leaving Deku alone to start to be all romantic towards him. It seemed the blonde demon succeeded in doing that. Had they really started dating?? I didn't want to think about it, but what happened next seemed to prove it.
   Before Aoyama sat down at his desk, he set his hand on Deku's cheek and pulled him close, pecking his lips quickly. The green haired boy covered his face and ran over to his own desk, flustered. So this world DOES hate me. It hurt me mentally to see my kidnapper kiss my crush, and it sent a shiver down my spine. My jaw dropped a bit as I made a mental gagging sound.
Class started soon after what happened with Aoyama and Deku, and Mr.Aizawa explained they would be training at gym gamma with Mr.Cementoss and Midnight. He said we would be doing some good old 1 on 1. Thank God. I need something to distract me from the unsightly kiss I saw earlier.

As we made our way to the gym, I told Tsuyu what happened.
"So he just won him over in just a few days?" Tsuyu asked.
" Seems like it," I replied. "And I didn't even know Deku was into guys."
"Yeah but I guess Aoyama changed that." Tsuyu said.
"I guess. But I'm still shocked that it all happened so fast." I responded, frowning.
"Makes sense." Tsuyu said, patting me gently on the back. "It's okay Ochako. Things are gonna get better."
"I hope so." I replied, sighing.
We finally made our way to the gym, and Mr. Cementoss and Midnight were waiting for us. I clenched my fists. I wasn't gonna let Aoyama get in the way of my dream to become a hero. I still needed to work hard. Mr. Cementoss made a ring out of the ground, reminiscent of the one at the sports festival, but much smaller.
"Wow it's like a mini sports festival!"
"The rules are simple," Mr. Aizawa said. "Whoever gets knocked out of the ring first loses, and the other advances to the next round. Got it?"
"Yes sensei." We all nodded.
Mr. Cementoss spoke. "The first match will be... Shoto Todoroki VS Katsuki Bakugo!"
"I'm gonna crush him!" Bakugo yelled, raising his fist up in the air.
"Is that so?" Todoroki replied, cocking his head.
"Ready, and...... START!"
Bakugo blasted Todoroki into the air, sending him flying, about to fall down. But he caught himself with a sheet of ice and shot an ice wall towards him. Bakugo exploded the ice wall angrily and started chasing Todoroki.
"Is that what your planning Bakugo?" Todoroki asked.
"SHUT UP YOU ICYHOT BASTARD!" Bakugo replied aggressively. Todoroki shot another ice attack at him through the ground, sending Bakugo back a bit towards Midnight.
Bakugo shot towards him, about to make his move, but suddenly, one of his gauntlets ripped Midnight's sleeve. Pink gas started rising from her, and Bakugo, who felt something rip against his gauntlet, turned around and saw the smoke coming towards him. He tried to run, but the smoke was too fast. It eventually caught up to him and he slowly fell into a deep sleep. Todoroki immediately shot a sheet of ice to catch him, however, the ice missed. So Todoroki lunged forward and caught Bakugo in his arms safely.
Midnight and Mr. Cementoss rushed over to   
take Bakugo away, and Todoroki asked them if he would be all right. They told him he was just asleep and that he was going to be fine. For some reason Todoroki was really worried about Bakugo, and seemed to care a lot about him, even when Bakugo didn't care about him. And if the situation wasn't chaotic enough, the gas spread to Deku, who was also near Midnight, who was taking notes on the match. Deku also started to slowly fall asleep, but right before he fell to the ground......

     Aoyama caught him.

   I know it was accidental, but it angered me so much to have another reminder that Aoyama loved Deku and vice versa. I was furious. That's it! I've had enough! I'm going to tell him-no I can't. He'll hurt my family. But does that mean I'm going to stay like this forever.?

   I really can't keep this up much longer...
