The Royal Maids

Chapter one

Side note: I'll be referring to the reader character as commander instead of (y/n) during dialogue because it's a lot easier, I will be switching between the two regardless when it feels appropriate.

Third person POV: it was (y/n)'s fourth week at the Azur Lane base as the commander and has made many new acquaintances. At the moment, he was joined with Long Island as they were both taking turns trying to speed run Dark Souls III. After about an hour or so and lots of heavy sighs and screens saying You Died, a knock on the door was heard along with the voice of a familiar maid.

Belfast: Master, are you in there? It's 5:42 in the morning and you weren't in your room. (She said as she came in the room with a worried expression)

Both (y/n) and Long Island after realizing how late or rather how early it had gotten both gave each other the Oh Shit look

Commander: yeah, sorry I lost track of time did you need me for something.

Belfast: Nothing of importance just making sure of your whereabouts is all. (She said as she let out a sigh in relief)

???: There you are.

Commander: Uh oh, uh... hey Sheffield... uh... good morning?

Sheffield: Good morning my ass! Ive been looking for you for almost half an hour now

The commander was then being dragged by the shirt collar by an angry Sheffield as Belfast was soon to follow

Commander: We'll pick this back up later             Long Island!

Before the commander was dragged out of the room he got a glimpse of Long Island giving a thumbs up.

—-Time skip—

(y/n) was now in his office doing paper work while Belfast was assisting by doing some herself and making tea.

Ever since (y/n) came to Azur Lane he decided that Belfast would become his secretary since she is who he was introduced to first. Although in the short time being here he has developed slight feelings for her and the other maids. He kept those feelings bottled up though as he did not want to come off as an immoral person.

While (y/n) was daydreaming about the girls he was soon snapped out of it by the sound of the door being opened revealing two more maids.

Dido: Master, I have finished the sortie do you require anything else?

Commander: Welcome back you two, and Dido I don't have anything I need right now, but thank you.

A sad look formed on Dido's face as she began tearing up with thoughts running through her head like 'Is master abandoning me' and 'does master not like me' these thoughts however were quickly flushed out when she heard the sound of her commanders voice saying-

Commander: If you'd like I would appreciate it if you would help Belfast and I finish this paperwork.

Dido: yes of course! (she said with an excited tone)

Sirius: My honorable master we gathered the items you sought to obtain.

Commander: Ah, awesome work you guys, I can finally make those new main guns for you. Now if we can just get those blueprints for the torpedoes.

As he was in deep thought about how he could acquire said blueprints he was soon brought back to reality by Belfast giggling.

Belfast: My apologies master your troubled expression is cute is all~

The commander then had a slight but noticeable blush causing Sirius to join Belfast in giggling and approaching the commander with her hands pressed against her side purposely showing off her bust.

After awhile of doing paperwork as they were soon joined by Sheffield who would glare at Sirius every time she tried flirting with the commander, it grew dark bringing the long day to a close.

As the commander was headed towards his room he was stopped by Dido who had a desperate and almost scared look on her face

Commander: What's wrong Dido?

Dido: Commander, can I please sleep with you?

Commander: huh?

That wraps up the first chapter of my very first story, sorry if it was a bit short, I just wanted to get characters introduced and out of the way while also seeing how my word count would turn out while using improv to write the majority of this chapter on the spot.
