Chapter Twelve (Belfast arc finale)

I made my way to the cafe to wait for Belfast, however I could feel this ominous aura coming from the direction of the cafe itself. It felt almost as if I was being watched. I simply shook it off and continued towards the bar area where the coffee maker was.

Y/N: I swear Belfast makes the best coffee. I don't know what I did to deserve someone like her, but I must be doing something right.

???: Don't say that commander, any girl would gladly be at your beck and call, including me~

I didn't need to turn around to see who was behind me. I already knew who It was. She is possibly one of the most infamous girls among the Sakura empire; Taihou.

Y/N: Good morning Taihou, how are you this morn-

I turned around only to come face to face with her as we were now only two inches away. A seductive look was seen on her face and a blush was on mine. You'd think living with women would relieve this embarrassment problem, but it accomplishes the exact opposite. And Taihou knew of this and decided to take advantage of it as most of the girls already do.

Taihou: You know commander, you ought to think about putting a ring on someone's finger. You don't want to live your life single do you? If you want, you could put a ring on my finger.

Y/N: I-I um, well I haven't r-really thought about-

Belfast: That will be all lady Taihou. Master is far too busy to think about such trivial and unimportant leisures right now.

Belfast walked towards us with a serious yet determined look on her face as if she was defending her territory.

Taihou: Ahh, Greetings Belfast it's a pleasure to see you.

Taihou's voice sounded sincere, though the look of irritation displayed on her face proved otherwise.

The tension in the room was so high I thought the room would explode. It didn't help that I was in the middle of it all.

Taihou: I'm simply saying that the commander should at least think about the future. Things aren't going to stay how they are forever.

As crazy as she is, she was right. All things will have to come to an end, good or bad. However I am not entirely sure where my situation falls on that spectrum. On the plus side I'm surrounded by beautiful women on a daily basis, but on the other hand they each have there fair share of quirks that make me reconsider many life choices at times.

Belfast: Whenever Master is ready to take a woman's hand in marriage then I will not interfere. However I will not stand idly by as you attempt to force this idea upon him, especially when he is so busy with work.

Taihou: I suppose I should take my leave now. Commander, if you decide you do want to put a ring on my finger I'll be happy to accept.

Taihou made an attempt at my lips and left the room, leaving me in a daze and with Belfast who was beyond pissed off now.

Y/N: ...Well that was uncomfortable.

Belfast grabbed my arm and sat me down at the bar where she walked around towards the coffee maker. The silence felt awkward so I wanted to try and make conversation with her, but what am I supposed to talk about?

Y/N: You know Belfast, Christmas is only a little more than a week away.

My comment seemed to put her in a better mood as she was now smiling.
