The shadow moves out of the darkness and into the moonlight. We can see the figure clearly. I beam at the figure before me.

'It is Sasuke!'

He smirks at me when he sees how happy I am to see him. My heart's telling me to run to Sasuke and hug him, but my mind's telling me that I should make sure I can approach him.

I look at Pain and he nods his head, telling me I can go to him. I thank him and break out into a run. Sasuke opens his arms and waits for me to jump in them. Once I'm close, I hug him with all my might. He embraces me just as much.

"I missed you," Sasuke whispers in my neck.

"I missed you too."

He moves his head back enough to kiss my forehead.

"I can't believe I found you."

"How did you find me?"

"We felt your chakra once we were close enough."

"We?"

"Yeah. I went to Kiba's house before I came out here. He smelled your scent and told me which direction to go. I told him to keep his distance so they won't know who else is here."

"Wow, y'all are amazing." I smile and touch his hair. "Wait, did you say smell?"

"Hn."

"I didn't know I smelled," I say, blushing madly, as I try to get out of his arms.

"No, no, you smell great," he says, putting his arms around my waist again to pull me back to him. He nuzzles my neck, causing me to giggle.

Once he does this, I hear Pain approaching us. I release Sasuke immediately.

Pain's P.O.V.

Naruto Uzumaki. Ambitious, bright, considerate, generous, gentle, gorgeous, helpful, loving, passionate, beautiful, an angel. There's so many words to describe the ray of sunshine beside me.

Everything about him is amazing. His eyes, smile, hair, personality, and body. Months of research and restless nights paid off. I've been able to hold, kiss, and love the greatest person I know.

Without Naruto, I wouldn't be complete. He means the world to me. I love him beyond words, so you can't imagine how protective I became when I heard the figure feet away from us call out his name.

Naruto looks up at me with his beautiful smile, asking for permission to go to him. I nod my head and he thanks me before sprinting to the person before us.

'I'm pissed that he's touching my Naruto, but I want Naruto to be happy.'

"I take it that's your 'Foolish little brother?'"

"Hn. I'm surprised you let Naruto go over to him, Leader-sama."

"Me too."

"I think you're making a mistake."

I look over at Itachi, but I don't say anything. I turn my attention back to Naruto and Sasuke. When I see Sasuke kiss Naruto's forehead, my blood boils.
