"Where's Jane ?!" - Part Six

Evie POV :
I walked down the backyard and saw Carlos standing in the enchanted lake's platform , Waiting for me ..
I had literally looked everywhere but Jane was nowhere to be found ...
I walked up the platform and Carlos widened his eyes seeing me . He was fixing his sleeves and at the moment he saw me , He gasped .
"Evie ?! Why are you here ?!" He asked .
"Carlos .. I couldn't find her . I even called her but she didn't answer .." I said and fixed my eyes hopelessly on the ground .
"What do you mean ?" He murmured .
"I mean ... Maybe she isn't here or she isn't okay ." I responded and scratched my arm nervously .
"Okay , I'll call her !" He said and took a deep breath . He grabbed his phone and called Jane .. I could hear him heavilly breathing and his heartbeat raising moment after moment ...
Carlos lowered the phone hopelessly and I saw his slight excited smile fading from his mouth ; I stepped forward and asked :" What ?"
"She's not answering .." He said and my eyes caught around ; It looked really beautiful with all this decoration ! There was a table with two drinks on it and two dishes beside a big chocolate cake plate .
"What should we do ?" He asked and looked at me . I could see worried and scary feelings running through his thoughts , Rippling into his big sad brown eyes . I could see how his freckled calm face was now scared , panting and hus gaze was bouncing around .
"Should we head to the cameras room ?" I asked and put my hands on my hips .
Carlos quickly looked up and said :" Oh yeah ! That's a great idea ! That's amazing !"
He ran pass me and I turned around , Saying :" Wait for me !"
I walked after him and while I was passing the hallway suddenly Doug appeared infront of me , Saying :" Hey ! You know where's Jane ?!"
"Um .. Actually we are looking for her too ." I said and glanced at Carlos who was entering the Cameras room .
"Why ? What happened ?" He asked .
I shrugged and saw that Carlos was not there anymore .
"Lets just go and see !" I said and ran after Carlos into the room and Doug was following me .
Camera room was huge room with lots of monitors around which was so difficult to understand which one's which and wheres' .
Carlos was sitting on a chair infront of some monitors and he was typing something on the keyboard .
I leaned forward to see what is he doing and finally saw Jane sitting on the bench in the backyard an hour ago .
"Look !" I said and pointed at Jane .
Carlos gasped and leaned forward ..
"What the hell ?!" He yelled .
"What ?! What happened ?!" I asked because I couldn't see anything from there ..
"What is he doing here ?!" Carlos said and his voice cracked .
"Guys ! Is everything okay ?!" I turned and saw Doug who had raised one of his eyebrows.
I hushed and turned back to the monitors ..
"Charles was here !" Carlos said and quickly stood up .
I gasped and said :" What ?! How ?! Isn't his ring with you now ?!"
"It's in the muesum and no one can have access to it but I'm sure he had found a new way !" Carlos said and nodded with unbelief , In a worried way .
"He is touching her !" Carlos said and I fixed my eyes on the monitor , Seeing Jane crying , I said :" Why is she crying ?"
Carlos gulped and said :" What ?"
"Jane is crying !" I said and stepped forward , Standing infront if the monitors . Jane's black and white picture was kinda blurry but still from the way she had covered her face with her hands and the way she talked , It was obvious that she was crying ..
"Oh Gosh ! Why ?!" Carlos said and wrinckled his nose.
I saw Charles holding Jane's hand and making her stand up . They walked out of that area and I could see them sitting on their motorcycles with Jane.
"Wait where are they going ?!" I said and but my lips , Narrowing my eyes . The room was dark and I could just see the monitors light , Flashing through my eyes .
"Oh no , No , No , No ..." Carlos murmured and pointed at the monitor , Yelling :" Are they seriously going to the Isle ?!"
"It seems like that .." I said in a unsure tone .
"I'm done ! They probaply forced her !" Carlos said and walked out of the room .
Doug pulled himself back and looked at Carlos who was almost hitting him .
"Why is Jane is the Isle ?" He asked .
"I have no idea but we should find a way to go back to the Isle !" I said .
