(ON HOLD) Kiss Me, Heal Me [Jinlia / Ryujisu]

Introduction: Lia

"Hey Lia, wake up." Felix poked her shoulder with a finger. The girl remained unstirred with her head buried in her arms that were resting on the desk.

"CHOI JI SU! WAAAAKE UUUUP! ITS LUNCH BREEEEAAAAKKKK!!"

Lia finally woke up from her deep slumber after her friend screamed in her face for like almost a minute.

"Eww...i did not come here to see this..." Felix said in his obvious Australian accent while Lia just stared at the former with a clueless expression.

"Your drool...it's all over your face." Felix gestured with a disgusted expression.

"Ah...sorry. Hehe." Lia gave a sheepish smile as she wiped away the drool, then took out her phone from under her textbook to stop the number 475th recording.

Lia knows that she falls asleep easily, and deeply, especially during Literature class. So she made sure to record whatever the teacher was saying, or else she gotta say bye-bye to her straight As.

*Buzzz Buzzz*

Lia and Felix both looked at their phones to see a message from their groupchat.

[Bang Chan] yo I'm at the cafeteria whr yall now

[Strawberry] we're otw

"What? I told you not to name me Strawberry!" Lia smacked Felix's arm when she saw her name on his phone.

Felix laughed before saying, "Race you to the cafeteria!" and sprinted off.

"Yah!"

'Oohh this looks good~ ' Lia thought to herself after taking a peek at the school's organic pasta before waiting in line to get a serving of it.

Felix checked his gift intended for Bang Chan to make sure it was still in the pocket of his jacket while he queued in line to get a sandwich.

As Lia approaches her table, she noticed that Yuna was sotting by the table next to hers. She was about to greet her but decided not to when she realised Yuna was busy staring at a brunette with cute ears while wearing a foolish grin on her face.

'Ahh...this must be the Chaeryeong that Yuna has been blabbering about.' She thought to herself as her lips formed into a smile.

Lia was glad to know that Yuna had found someone whom she really likes because she treats the younger girl as if she was her biological sister.
After all, they spent most of their childhood years growing up together so they had forged a really special bond.

"Guys, i'll have to leave 20 mins earlier, there has been a change to my class schedule." Bang Chan said when Lia reached their table.

"Seems like i can't have lunch break with you guys like before." He sighed. The girl immediately glanced at Felix when she heard what Chan had said while the latter just pouted.

Lia picked up her fork and spoon, ready to savour the mouth-watering pasta.

*nom nom nom*

"mmm...its so good~" Lia squealed in satisfaction after placing a mouthful of pasta into her tiny mouth.

When Bang Chan left, Lia nudged Felix with her elbow.

"Hey, have you passed him the gift?"

"Oh right! I forgot!" Felix mentally facepalmed.

"Go go! And take your time~" Lia said with a smile.

"Thanks strawberry!" Felix replied cheekily.

'istg this kid...' Lia puffed her cheeks, then sighed before going back to stuffing her mouth with the spaghetti with tomato sauce.

Feeling that someone was staring at her, she raised her head to find herself meeting the piercing gaze of a pink-haired girl sitting at the next table.

'W-what? W-why is she staring at me?!'

When a smile formed on the attractive stranger's face, she could suddenly hear her own heartbeat getting faster

ba-dum...ba-dum...

Their gaze was broken off when that stranger's friend waved her hand in front of her face.

It was then she realised that the stranger is a friend of Yuna. And within seconds, the said blonde girl appeared right before her.

"Unnie!" Yuna laughed at Lia's tomato sauce stained mouth but decided not to tell her.

"You're alone?" Yuna asked while trying to hold her laughter.

"Yeah, Felix went after Bang Chan." Lia said through her pasta-filled mouth, before adding a toothless smile.

"Oh" Yuna pouted. "Why don't you join me for the time being?" She suggested, before bursting into laughter because she couldn't contain her laugh any longer, causing the older girl to be confused.

"What? Why are you laughing?"

Yuna placed a hand on her abdomen while flipping the camera on her phone to selfie mode with her other hand before showing it to Lia.

"Oops..hehe" The older girl immediately wiped the sauce off her face sheepishly while she laughed at herself too.

"Let's go," Yuna said after they were done laughing.

"Oh where's Ryujin unnie?" Yuna asked Chaeryeong when the former found her sitting alone at the table.

"Ah...i'm not sure. She left in a hurry." Chaeryeong replied softly with a pout, which made Yuna's heartbeat went faster and faster.

"The pink haired girl. Her name is Ryujin?" Lia asked.

"Yep. Shin Ryujin. Why do you ask?" Yuna smirked at Lia.

"W-What?" Lia cleared her throat. "I was just curious because i haven't seen her before."

Chaeryeong and Yuna gave each other a knowing look before nodding at Lia with a smile which the older girl found creepy. "Sure, sure." They replied in unison, while Lia just shook her head and went back to eating her food.
