Getting at the said location on time was a challenge but Earth made it. He was now sitting at a restaurant waiting for his kinda blind date. The thing is, he has been talking to this guy on social media for some time and only today they, that guy, found free time to meet.

It would be a lie to say he wasn't feeling nervous. It's been long since the last time he was on a date and this was returning all of the already forgetten feelings. Earth hoped everything will pass well.

Earth ordered some kind of juice from the menu while he waited for his date with patience but the guy wouldn't show up. He took out his phone deciding to send a quick message. He waited for minutes but not even a sign that it was read was showing. He tried once, then again and again until it has show the read sign, but no answer. You didn't need to be a genius to know what's up. He has been stood up.

Feeling bitter Earth couldn't help but to laugh. Was it too hard for that man to say hey I don't like you after all and I don't want to meet? Now he is left here feeling worse then he would usually.

He was drinking his juice like it was an alcohol drink. It didn't help at all. Staying up till late while this guy, he should stop calling him that, it's Jay, was telling him all about his day, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, making him feel happy and wanted, were all really just that now. Sweet nothings.

Earth took his phone out of pocket and blocked Jay's number. Something in Earth still hoped that he had emergancy of some sort but..If he wanted he could have called.

"Thank you for making time to meet us today" Earth thoughts interupted a voice that sounded somewhat familiar to him. He threw a little glance at the direction of the voice. Oh. It's that guy again.

P' from the caffe was here, dressed in different suit, his hair styled perfectly just as earlier. Somewhat of a neat freak. At least he seemed like one. Earth took a gulp of his juice, his eyes still on this P'.

Fake. The way P' moved, talked, acted, smiled. All of it was fake. Robotic. Do this and that so they would be pleased. Earth giggle in interest his eyes following the line of the other man's hand going for a handshake. You won't go far. And he was right. P' moved away, letting the other's hand be in air for a second before the man let the hand fall in awkwardness.

Earth's eyes traveled back to P's face just fast enough for him to catch a quick narrow of eyebrows in..disgust? Uncomfortableness? Both? Most likely.

He was quietly enjoying the situation, sipping on his juice, trying hard not to cringe at the awkwardness of the two.

He could see that P' wanted to say something, he also probably sensed the atmosphare, but his lips wouldn't move. He pitied the guy. It's not going well. Something in him moved. He used to be in a lot of situations like this. His mind was quick. It's just a glass.

Earth pushed a glass to the edge of the table before it fell to the floor, crushing in pieces. He went down to pick up the pieces, mumbling sorry to everybody in there, but truly, his eyes never left P'.

The two moved away, the other man leaving while P' was still standing. When he moved his body, Earth wasn't expecting that their eyes would meet. His head looked at the floor on reflax. He caught me.

Then a waiter came, cleaning up the mess. Earth stood up, expecting to see P' in front of him but he was on the far end of the restaurant. Not even a thank you. Or even a nod. He wasn't expect one but it would have been the most human thing to do.

He went to the other waiter who was standing close "I am sorry for my clumsiness. How much was that glass? And also the juice" He took a wallet from his pocket when the waiter stopped him.

"It was already payed for, sir" Earth looked at him surprised "That sir over there already took care of it".

Earth turned to look at the direction the waiter was looking at and saw the very same P' sitting and cheaking something on his phone.

Like the guy could sense his stare, he looked up and their eyes met yet again. The expression on his face was neutral, not even a muscle moving. Well, he is human after all.

Despite his sarcastic thoughts Earth smiled at this stranger before making his way to the entry but stopping shortly, remembering why he was here in the first place.

He shook his head. Why was I expecting something? With that thought on his mind he left.

What Earth wasn't aware of is two narrowed eyes watching his retiring back from the end of the restaurant.
