'Of course, I don't know the real you. But I'm willing to get to know you.'

An awkward tensed feeling feels the small space between our shoulders that are only inches away from each other. Before I could think twice the sentence flipped out of my mouth. His reaction is totally understandable. How could I even dare to say something like that.

I uncomfortably lower my gaze to the ground of dirt decorated with a million branches. 'I don't want you to know that', suddenly breaks the triggering silence. His low deep voice echoes through the forest.

I turn my face and eye him suspiciously. What does that mean?

'What? I don't understand..' '-I don't want you to know what I really am', his voice cuts me off harshly. I frown questioning his unclearness. My mouth opens, but closes again when I realise that it's my time to shut up.

He's irritated. I only wanted him to rest, but it led us to this point. This point that I question everything that I surely know he didn't want to answer me.

I'm nothing more than a mission to him. A simple girl he has to protect as a task from some informants or whatever it was. Or maybe it were his bosses who demanded him. Whatsoever I'm not allowed to feel pathetic about it. Trying to form a connection? What was I thinking?

'Sorry, I shouldn't have asked you that', I respond quietly. I'm trying to sound not pathetic, but all I am right now is pathetic. A deep sigh escapes his mouth while he slowly stands up on his feet.

'We should continue', he says coldly while his steps follow back into our path. He doesn't even care to look back at me. Might as well stay here, he wouldn't even notice.

'In about two kilometres we're going to cross a highway', he says. I quickly hurry after him. 'Two kilometers? How do you know?' He rubs his eye before answering my question. 'I know the forest in and out, there's a reason I'm this calm.'

Not even an hour later we indeed see a suspicious highway hiding behind the green leaves of the forest. He really does know the forest in and out.

Loud exhales are heard from the exhausted man beside me, while we make our way from green to grey. Finally. Human territory. The whole fact of us getting lost in the forest was the least thing I wanted to think about right now.

We made it.

Un describable to tell my point of emotion at this moment. I was literally afraid I would poorly die in the forest with myself buried in Jungkook's embrace. Imagine that.

Looking at my partner it seems like he's happy as I am. Sweat his shining bright all over his neck and forehead. His raven hair sticks against it, while his eyes close for a moment.

Suddenly I notice what happened to his clothes. In all the panic and exhaustion I didn't care to notice anything. His basic white T-shirt turned many shades darker and his grey sweatpants has a little cut on his kneecap, probably when we crashed down on the ground when the FBI was chasing us.

'What you lookin' at?' The realisation shoots me in that I zoned out while creepily staring at him. 'Oh nothing, I'm just glad we made it till here', I smile softly. I'm a little embarrassed, but at the same time, who cares what he thinks? I'm allowed to stare at him whenever I want to. It's not like he doesn't act strangely sometimes.

'Where are the people though? Aren't highways suppose to be...' '-WATCH OUT', Jungkook immediately pulls me away from the highway making me land unstably on my butt.
