Buttercup pov:
Sage looked at me with anger.
"What's the matter with you?"
"W- Waht do you mean?" I asked.
"You've been so distracted lately!"
"I'm not!"
But every time when he was around, I had this weird feeling...
"Buttercup focus!" Sage yelled and she pointed her javelin at me.
"We've got to train."
I lunged my fighting stick to her but she disarmed me faster then normal.
"Buttercup, what's going on?"
Sage looked at me with anger and suspicion.
"I..."
But Sage rolled her eyes.
"Better fix your focus or else-!"
"Okay students. Gather around because I'm abiut to explain the next challenge. So get here!"  Sir Gareth said.
"What's the next challenge?" Prudy asked.
"I was going to explain that. So listen."
"Wait, are you going to explain or do we listen?" I asked.
Sage put a hand on my shoulder.
"Both." she whispered.
"You'll be practising  your fighting skills the next week. By making a new move. But you'll be partnered up with someone from another squad." Sir Gareth cuntinued.
"Wait but how are we making a usefull move when someone of the other sqaud already knows it?" Ciara asked.
"That's not important. It's to upgrade your teamwork and to get strategic with your new move."
"Who's going to be my partner?" Sage asked.
"Warwick." Sir Gareth said.
"Ughh..."
"What about me?" Prudence asked.
"Sherry."
"What?!" A unicorn squad girl said.
So sir Gareth kept telling people who their partner was until four of us were left.
Arc, Lucky, Ciara and me.
"So who's my partner then?" I asked.
"You're partner is Arc."
"This is going to be easy." Arc said and Ciara grinned.
I felt this huge rush coming up as we started practising.
"So... What's the plan?" I asked.
Arc twisted his sword.
"It has to be something which is cool."
"That won't be hard for you..."
"What?"
"Oh nothing!" I said quickly.
Arc looked at me with a confused look and I looked towards Ciara and Lucky.
"They make theirs functional... Perhaps we should make ours functional and cool?"
"Did you just had a good idea?"
"I have that somethimes..." and I started giggling nervously.
This was so embarrassing.
"Is something wrong...?" Arc asked.
"N- no, of course not!"
He grinned shortly and neither of us said a thing.

Arc pov:
So Buttercup was acting way crazier then usual.
"Is something wrong...?" I asked.
"N- no, of course not!"
I grinned shortly and we got dismissed.

I looked at Warwick.
"So how is the training with Sage going?"
"The worst. I'm suprised that she didn't murder me yet."
I grinned.
"So how did you and Buttercup do?"
"Could've been worse I guess..."
"Mabey we should train together, the four of us. Then you don't have to deal with Sage on your own."
"That's not a bad idea!"
Warwick seemed relieved and I grinned.
"Hey guys!" Ciara said when she walked with Prudy to us.
"Hey girls. How was your training?"
"I don't think that Sherry likes me..." Prudy said and Ciara rolled her eyes.
"Prudy and Sherry did fine. Lucky and I are acctually working together too."
"Why do they have easy partners?" Warwick asked.
"Buttercup isn't that bad either..." I said.
"Oohhh, what did we miss?" Prudy asked with a smirk.
"What are you talking about?" I asked with confussion.
Ciara rolled her eyes and they walked off.
"Hey! Don't leave me hanging!" I said and Warwick grinned.
"Mabey they'll say it later?"
I shrugged as we walked to the market place.

"Why are you so distracted lately!" a voice yelled and Warwick ducked behind me.
"That's Sage for sure..." he muttered.
"Good. Where Sage is, is Buttercup. Then we can ask them about training together." I said.
Buttercup looked sad about what Sage said.
"I- I'm not distracted!"
"Hey girls-" I said.
"Beat it, Feniks." Sage said.
Buttercup seemed glad (?) to see me and she looked at me.
"What are you two doing here?"
"We thought that it would be fun- better, if we'd be training together. The four of us." I said.
"Why?" Sage said.
"So I won't be that scared?" Warwick whispered.
I rolled my eyes.
"Because you and Buttercup are best friends and so are Warwick and I..."
"It would be a little more fun though..." Buttercup said and she smiled a little.
"Ugh. Fine. Tomorrow, by the lake. Don't. Be. Late!" Sage yelled and they walked away.
"I saw the way that she looked at you." a teasing voice said and Warwick and I turned.
"Hey Ciara!"
"Like Sage wanted to kill me?" Warwick asked.
"No, the way like B-"
But Prudy covered Ciara's mouth.
"Not your secret to tell."
"But-"
"Ciara..."
"Fine..."
I shrugged and the four of us went to our squad room.
