11. Asshole! (happy ending)

Buttercup pov:
We ran to the lake.
"There!" Warwick said as he pointed to the water.
"Red water..." Prudy said.
"Blood..." Ciara said.
"Arc!" Sienna and I yelled.
"There by the shore!" Warwick said and we saw Arc with a lot of blood around him.
Sienna kneeled next to him, just like all of us.
I took his hand.
"Arc say something!" Sienna said and gave him a small push.
"Look, his wound." Prudy said.
"I'll get magical water and healing herbs!" Ciara said.
"No time for that. There's only one person who could help him in time and none of you will like that idea." Sienna said.
"Raver's camp..." I muttered.
"Exactly."
"No way! Raver will kill Arc himself!"
"My dad is not that heartless, Ciara or do you prefer me to call you Princess?"
"How do you...?" Ciara muttered.
"I've been spying on Arc for years. He talked a lot to himself and to you about it."
"Hold up, what did I miss?"
"Right, Buttercup is then the only one who doesn't know my secret..."
"Guys focus! We need to help Arc!" Warwick said.
"Yea, Prudy is the strongest. You help him up. We need to get moving." Sienna said.
Arc was unconscious, hopefully alive though...

The four of us (Ciara, Prudy, Warwick and I) weren't comfortable knowing that we were on our way to Raver's camp. But Sienna said that Raver would help Arc and Arc really needed that.
"We're here." Sienna said as we arrived at this place full of tents.
Raver looked at Sienna.
"What's going on?"
"Arc needs help."
Raver looked at Arc, who was leaning on me and Prudy (and still unconscious).
"Kyle, Jayden. Get your asses here and help him." Raver yelled and those guys took Arc over.
Then Raver looked at us.
"So Sienna, who are they?"
"These are Prudy, Warwick and Ciara, squadmates and best frienfs of Arc." Sienna said.
Raver looked at me.
"You're the girl who got saved by Arc, with the arrow incident. Buttercup, wasn't it?"
I nodded softly.
"Sir, trouble here..." one of those two guys said.
"What?!" Raver yelled and he turned around.
Sienna told us to wait and she ran off with Raver.

Arc pov:
Everything was such a blur... I saw a lot of blood and a few people...
I had so much pain...
"Arc?" someone said.
I tried to notice who it was but my vision was such a blur and I couldn't recognise the voice.
"What the...?" I muttered.
"Arc!" A voice said.
"He's awake!" Another voice said.
"And surprisingly alive..." A third voice said.
I felt the pain in my chest and gritted my teeth in pain.
My vision finally cleared up and I saw that Buttercup stood next to me.
"Arc... Are you... are you okay?"
"How am I still alive...?"
"Can you two please shut up? I need to focus!" Warwick said and I saw that he used his magic to heal my wound.
"What the...?" I muttered.
As the wound was gone I got hugged by Buttercup.
"Thank goblins you're okay..."
"Buttercup...?"
She kissed me and I smiled.
"I thought you'd hate me...?"
"How could I?"
"Guys, one other thing. There is still a kinda war between Arc's dad and my dad..." Ciara said.
"No. That's was almost got my son killed. I promised Eleanor not to let the twins get hurt. Your dad might have the kingdom but at least I listen to my kids." Raver said and I looked at him.
"I can't tell if you mean it or not...?"
"Trust me brother. He means it." Sienna said.

So all of us went to the palace.
"He's alive?!" The king yelled and Raver stepped forward.
"I'm asking for peace between us."
"You... are?"
"It almost got my son killed. You think I'd risk another family member after you poisoned my wife?"
"Hold up, you poisoned my mother?" I asked and Ciara looked at her dad.
"You didn't...?"
"It was uncalled for... I admit that. But the people needed someone else on top."
"Killing ain't the solution, I learned that lesson."
"You killed her, I didn't."
"I freed her of her pain."
"Dad." Ciara, Sienna and I said on the same time.
Raver held out his hand.
"Can we get this over with?"
The king tool his hand.
"Peace it is."
"Yes!" Warwick said and Ciara just kissed him.
"I knew it! You owe me ten gold pieces!" I said and Prudy groaned.
"I am so disappointed right now..."
Buttercup looked at me and kissed me as well.

Ten years later...

So Buttercup and I got married, we got a daughter... We called her Eleanor. Buttercup's idea, not mine.
She was just a beautiful as her mom and she looked at me.
"Look daddy." she did a cartwheel and I smiled.
"Nice going kid."
"Mommy taught me that."
Buttercup smiled.
"You're a quick learner sweetheart."
I looked at Buttercup.
"How could I ever be so lucky to end up with the two of you?"
"I'm lucky with the two of you." Buttercup said.
"Noo!! I am the luckiest with you two!" Eleanor said and I hugged both of my girls.
"Daddyyy!!!!" Eleanor said and Buttercup smiled.
"I wouldn't trade this for the world." she said softly.
