Chapter 2 - The first encounter (II)

Kuroo's pov

I was lying on my bed while staring up my ceiling waiting for y/n to send me her address.

*ding* my phone sounded. I checked my phone and indeed it was y/n who sent me her address.

I smirked as i got down from bed and proceeded to go out my house to visit my dear childhood friend, kenma.

I mean, kenma may not be the most helpful in moving items or doing anything but if i had to drag someone down with me, it would definitely be him.

kenma's pov

I was lying down on my bed while playing with my playstation whne i suddenly sneezed.

"It must be kuroo again, nothing good happens whenever i sneeze." I thought.

Just as i thought about the sneeze, my door flung open revealing my stupid childhood friend.

"How did you even get in here" I said as i continued playing my game.

"Did you forget that your mother gave me the keys to your house to take care of you while both your parents are overseas working?" Kuroo replied with a smirk on his face.

"Tsk, i knew i should've changed the houses' lock"

"That's so mean kenma."

"So why are you even here, you better have a good reason for disturbing me in the middle of my game"

"Firstly, you are clearly not bothered by my appearance and still playing your game. Secondly, I need your help to move items"

"You're moving house? Hell yes I'll help you to move out faster"

"Unfortunately it's not me but a friend of mine"

"Tsk, why isn't it you and what makes you think i would leave my house to help others"

"She is gonna treat us to dinner and most importantly, your favourite dessert, apple pie"

"Who do you think i am, a 2 year old child whom you can convince using desserts?"

"Help a friend out alright, i already promised her i'll be coming with another friend to help her move in"

"Who's your friend, I don't know you and you can always ask someone else like Lev. I'm busy right now so don't bother me."

"Lev and the rest lives too far, by the time we reach her house, we wouldn't have enough time to help her move in completely"

"Not my problem"

"Come on kenma, i did you so many favors and I'm even accompanying you tomorrow for the national gaming competition. Can't this kind king just give me a reward back for the favors i did for him"

I looked at kuroo for a while then turned back to my video game. There was an awkward silence as i frowned and finally gave in.

"Fine. Don't you ever drag me into anything anymore in the future and i am not going to help out with the moving in, I'll just be there playing my games got it?"

"Yes my king!!" Kuroo said as he bowed down to me like a butler.

I chuckled softly then proceeded to follow kuroo out of my house and to the friend's house he was talking about.

I wonder if that person has a crush on kuroo like all the other girl who asked kuroo for help. Not like i care but it's disgusting when they try so hard to get his attention and i always have to help him out of the situation.

I've known kuroo since chilhood and he has always been too kind of a person to reject someone. But this time he didn't say he couldn't reject this friend of his. Maybe it's different this time? Whatever, not my problem anyways, I'll just concentrate on my game to practice for tomorrow. I don't want to lose face tomorrow.
