5. playing a new tune with my husband.

" Here is your new night dress ....baby you are looking like a little bunny. " said trishna while dressing purvi for bed. She gave her a bath but didn't wait long fearing that she will catch cold. Like other day she gave her milk to drink than played with her for sometimes and than purvi fell asleep. She covered her nicely put her teddy next to her so that she doesn't wake up and get scared and went to do her daily night routine. After washing and doing her daily makeup removal she sat in front of the mirror started thinking.

' I am sure sankalpa will not sleep here. Well that will be better but my sudden changes I hope it doesn't kill the poor guy. I think I should talk with him. The crush of the original owner is not hidden from him and if that's the case than  its better to talk with him for once and settle everything. " she thought and started looking for sankalpa. Martha told her that he is in his study so she went their to have a chat with him. She knocked on the door and waited for sometimes.

" Yes...." Sankalpa stopped in the mid sentence looking at his beautiful wife standing on the door. " come in " he said and let her in the room. Trishna looked around and found the study quiet pleasing. Their is a well furnished table , a nice library, finally leather coated chairs and a piano. Looking at the piano Trishna's eyes shinned she asked sankalpa " You play ? " sankalpa who was watching her reaction closely nodded and told in his sweet voice
" sometimes ...when I get time. " she nodded than remembered why she was their and turned to say " Sankalpa I need to talk with you. " his expression remained surprised but he still controlled showed her a chair to sit and sat on another one himself.

" Sankalpa the way we got married is not something we wanted but we did it anyway. And than we had our little girl but things really didn't changed between us. And that's for a reason. " she took courage , took a huge breath and than started talking again
" I was in love with someone else...fantasy you can say. Was pretty serious about it. Never knew what I was Dreaming was house of cards and would blow away with little wind. So after marriage I tried to chase him but all in vain. " she stopped to help sankalpa digest the truth little by little ( I known he just got back but I must clear all misunderstandings ) .

" The house I grew up they never preferred a girl and always dots on my brother. And for that they got me ,a class 12 fail married with you. I was just a burden to them and when it was hard to feed another extra mouth you came to their rescue and married me. So when I gave birth I thought it was end of the world , I didn't acknowledged purvi as my daughter , didn't loved her and always tried everything in my power to make you angry so that you can divorce me. " she stopped as she spoke too much and her throat became dry.

" Trisi I know it. This story of your love you told me at the first night of our wedding and than as a reminder everyday and you not loving purvi trust me I know that...than why ? Why are you repeating again ? " he asked as he can no longer hold his curiosity. She poured herself a glass of water and sat silently for a while trying to form sentence in her head before speaking.

" I am telling you because people changes....I changed. I have learned what is good and what is bad for me. In a hard way I have learned the love I was chasing is just a cloud of dreams and would disappear soon. So I decided to live my life with peace. As for our relationship I can't say but I want to improve my relationship with purvi. I want to give her the love , attention that I never got from my family. I want to ensure that she gets a good life and I think its our duty to give her a better life. " she waited for his approval.

" That's true even I want her to live a good life. So how you want that to happen ? " sankalpa asked. Trishna told " Relationship of parents effects the minds of the children's a lot so we must stay as normal couple in the house. She must not understand our problems. Kids this days are very smart it wouldn't take time for them to notice the difference between us and other parents. So we must be very cautious. As for divorce than purvi is still young it would be very bad for her to decided with whom she wants to stay and separation of parents often leaves a huge effect on them and they can't enjoy their childhood properly. And as for me now even I am dependent on you . If you have anyone than I guess we have to wait till she reaches the age where she understands things correctly. I just want you to help me show purvi we are a happy family and she is safe with us. " she stopped and dranked another glass of water , something she does every time she is nervous.

" Okay , fair deal. I have no plans to divorce you and our relationship is not that close that we could be called a normal family but for purvi I will try. But what about your crush ? What made you realize that wouldn't work out ? " sankalpa asked. He became  worried that her so called crush has hurted her. He has to find out if that's the case than he can break every bone on that mans body for her.

" Well , he will be married soon so no worries and it was always one sided crush so he doesn't know anything about it. No worries he will never trouble purvi's life . He wouldn't dare and if he did than he will lose the heart with which he dares. " said trishna but looking at sankalpa's clueless face she explained " Its a doctors joke...he will lose heart as... You are heart specialist ....you known you can just yank his heart out ...leave it bad joke. " sankalpa nodded as slowly slowly he understood what she meant.

" Well , that's all I wanted to say. Ummm sankalpa if you don't mind can I play the piano for a bit. " Trishna asked to which sankalpa asked " You can play ? " Trishna nodded and told " Looks like we really don't know much about each other. " sankalpa nodded in agreement. Together they sat in front of the piano , she insisted sankalpa to play first and when he did she watched him mesmerized , a beauty playing piano such a dream come true.
" Why I never loved you ? " trishna whispered to herself.

" You said anything ? " asked sankalpa to which trishna hurriedly replied " My turn. " She played her favorite songs tune. Both of them played together for sometimes. While playing another song sankalpa forgot a piece and was struggling so trishna showed him the piece and told " Little baby steps and together we can reach the moon. " sankalpa agreed and again they emerged themselves into the music.
