Encouraged Yandere Cross x Dream (PART 1)

[Cross's POV]

Today is going to finally be the day...

Finally...

I walk around the darkened halls, the lights have been turned off.

"Dreamy?" I cooed, a smile forming as I know that my little Star of Hope can hear me. He can't use his magic, or at least he won't be able to use it to escape. Learning how to make Blue's tacos, even having Blue help this time lowered his guard just enough to eat a few.

Along with Ink and Blue themselves.

They are so naive, I feel a bit dumb for getting jealous of when I first got to know them. But once I started to hang out with them more, the more it became clear to me that they weren't worth making them as an example of how much I love Dream, no...

They were no real threat at all.

Still, Blue would still try his best to "save" the guardian. So would Ink, but I have a plan for him later. So I just drugged their tacos as well, but not such a heavy dose as Dream's. Once I could Dream was starting to feel the effects, he acted a bit more... weird.

He should've been more sluggish and trusting towards me like he always is. But for some reason he gently pushed me away multiple times before he saw his friends weren't feeling well either.

That's when he locked those beautiful, golden eyes with me.

And ran away.

But he doesn't have many places to hide here.

I've been here multiple times after all, when hanging out with Dream and the other two that aren't really worth mentioning.

The plan has been forming in the back of my mind for a little over a year now, however I've been a little hesitant to do it.

That is until... this morning happened.

[third person POV]

It started out as a normal day, as it should have been. Cross, being in the royal guard before his AU was destroyed, and now also being a very high rank in King Nightmare's team, is always one of the first of the main/high members to wake up. The sun never shines in Dreamtale, where the palace of darkness is located, however like every other AU there is time. Most AUs seem to have the same time zone concept, with a few exceptions with multiple timelines within an AU folder. There is also the thing with resets, however in an AU like this where there were no resets ever, it was studied a bit by some of the intelligent life forms (for example science sans but again there isn't just multiple sanses but also other characters too so decided to add that detail in here) to make a Core Clock. Either way, he wakes up way earlier than his fellow members and eats a warm breakfast. He then gets dressed, brushes his teeth and sometimes even flosses, and then makes his bed every morning. It goes on repeat, but it's very comfortable for Cross, it helps him become stronger and work more efficiently.

However, there have been some changes in him.

He has tried to stay away from NM, when before he was either interested in what his King is doing or just not being bothered at all. However, recently he has tried to stay further and further away from Nightmare, trying his best to make it seem normal. Although the attempt to make it subtle was lacking effort, which Nightmare knows is what happens when you're having some adrenaline course through the body along with fear. The King can sense negativity(also positivity since it is his weakness, Dream does the same but vice-versa), which is something across thought he had under control.

That morning Nightmare called in Cross. He knew exactly what was going on. A few days ago he saw them together. His brother and Cross, sitting together side by side in a random, but still unpopular AU. Cross was smiling and both of them were very happy.
