~Eight months ago~

It's miserable outside, I can hear the rain as it hits the cheap tin of the roof, and as it rushes through the clumsily assembled gutter, before reaching the already over-flowing water butt. Fitting I suppose, it's going to be a miserable day.

I had already packed everything the night before, but lingered in the small, dimly lit room that had been my home for the past few years. Trying to find an excuse to stay just a little longer.

"It's always hard to let things go, despite their flaws"

"Oh!" Brought back from my thoughts, I turned around, surprised to see the tall, poised woman who stood in the doorway. "Sorry, I didn't hear you come in"

"Good, I'd hate to think I'm losing my touch" she said, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Are you ready?"

"One minute" I pleaded

"Very well, but your carriage is waiting outside, so do be quick." She sighed, "really Fleur, I don't have much patience left." Before opening up a rather standard, practical black umbrella, and slinking off back outside. As soundlesly as when she first entered.

After waiting till she'd left, I went over to the window just by where my bed had once been. So many nights I had spent here, longing for something to happen that would let me leave this place. Well, I got my wish, I thought bitterly.
