Lovestruck Playboy

Chapter 1

             "sweetheart, come down quickly or you'll be late for school" Mom called from downstairs. I had already taken a bath so i made my hair into a ponytail and put on a little makeup, grabbing a pair of blue denim jeans and a black hoodie with the words 'FUCK OFF' boldly written on the front of it. I threw the clothes on then grabbed my bag and walked out of my room to the smell of bacon

"Good morning parents." I said, grabbing a plate and filling it with bacon,waffles and oranges before taking a seat beside Dad.

"good morning sweetie" mom turns her head to greet me with a big grin stretched all over her oval face. I looked to Dad and found he also had a smile on his face.

were they happy to be leaving?

"If i didn't know better, i'd say you two are way too happy to be leaving me behind you know." I said, taking a bite from my breakfast.

"come on baby, its not like we're happy to be leaving you behind, your mom and i just really needed a vacation and work brought the opportunity for us to do that" Dad kisses my forehead before going back to his food.

" Besides Honey, we'll only be gone for two months and your aunt Molly will be coming from time to time to check how you're doing since she can't come live here because of the ongoing wedding plans between her and Ethan " Mom pecked my cheek and stroked my hair then walked over to the kitchen sink to drop all of our plates. 

"Alright alright,mom, i don't want you messing up my hair, I spent a lot of time pulling this look off". mom giggled but Dad seemed to be more interested in his laptop than in what i was saying constantly adjusting his glasses. He was the typical quiet 'parent',he really didn't say much. 

"your dad and I will be dropping you off at school before going to the airport, is that okay?"

"okay? its brilliant! I can't take another day of riding the bus to school"

"Your car hasn't been fixed yet?" Dad finally spoke.

"the Technician at Joe's says it'll take a few weeks till its ready to be on the road again so maybe i'll just catch a ride with Steph and Bella every morning from now on"

"sounds better than taking the bus any day" he picked up the suitcases that stood close to the front door. "shall we ladies?" he gestured towards the door meaning it was time to get going. Mom grabbed her purse making her way to the front door but stopping to give Dad a kiss before walking out of the house, i followed behind her and so did Dad.

Mom and Dad dropped me off at school then drove to the airport to catch their flight to Japan. They were both Archaeologists working for the government and they had been given a contract that involved them going to Japan to gather some weird stuff called the dōtaku ritual bells.

That sounded creepy when they told me too.

I am happy they went on this trip. Don't get me wrong, i loved their company but who wouldn't like to have the house to themselves without parents? i could do anything i want except parties of course, no way in hell i'm having a party here, mainly because my social life wasn't top notch right now and i wouldn't like to see bodies all over the house and drunk teenagers getting pregnant in my parents living room. 

I dashed inside the school hallway, the familiar scent welcoming me as i made my way to my locker, I was surprised to see Bella standing beside my locker waiting for me."Well, you're early for once" I said as I approached her.

"And you look like shit" Bella said as she leaned head against my locker with a small grin plastered on her face. Her long, blonde hair fell across her blue eyes before she could brush them away.
