"Oh my god! Let's definitely go to that store!" Maia exclaimed while tugging my arm to some perfume store.

"Please kindly explain why we need perfume for a party?" I asked.

"Because party means a lot of people, a lot of people means hot guys, hot guys means a good time! Besides, it's a new years eve party. Who knows, maybe some hot guy would kiss me when the clock strikes twelve because I look and smell good." Maia giggled.

I groaned.

"Check this perfume, do you think it fits me?" Maia asked.

"I think I don't give a flying fuck how you smell. Guys would still throw themselves at you like Miley throws herself at a fake dick even if you smell like a fish." I muttered checking through the shelves for a perfume.

"What was that?"

"Nothing, try this perfume I think it would fit you." I said holding up a perfume that smells sweet just so that the subject would change.

"Hmm, you're right. It does fit me, how much is it I think I'll buy a small bottle of it." She asked totally buying my lame way of subject changing.

After I told her the price, I proceeded to look for a perfume for me. What? Just because I didn't want to go here, doesn't mean I won't buy a perfume.

"Oh try this one hun, I think this one's perfect for you." Maia said holding up a bottle of perfume.

I smelled it, and oh god it smells heavenly. "I'm going to buy a big bottle of this." I grinned smelling the perfume again. It smells like chocolate with vanilla and a few other sweet smells, all in all it smells like home. I love it.

After buying a lot more other trinkets, we decided it's time to actually do what we came here for.

Dress shopping. Cue groan from me.

Maia surprisingly found her dress in the first store. It was a white lacy long sleeved dress that just reached in the middle of her thighs and the design is simple but pretty.

All in all she looks like an angel.

Me on the otherhand is uncharacteristically having trouble with finding a dress. Three stores and not one dress stood out. I kept on saying sorry to Maia for taking too long to find a dress and she just keeps on shrugging it off.

After searching for years -not really- Maia finally decided to help me find a dress. She gave me four dresses to try on actually.

First one was a black floral sleeveless lace dress. I hate flowers but this one's kind of nice.

Second was a red fitted dress with longsleeves. Simple, I like it but I think it's a little too formal? I don't know.

Third was a black top sleeeless dress with a red floral skirt. Aw, this one's cute too but then again, I hate flowers.

And fourth was a red, above the knee sleeveless dress wih black lace on top covering the collarbones. Not too long and not too short.

Shit, I can't choose!

After much consideration, I finally went with the fourth dress. Not too casual, not too formal. In case it gets too chilly, I paired it up with a black leather jacket. Just perfect.

"I still can't believe you bought a dress faster than I did. Usually you're the one who can't choose and takes eons to pick what dress to buy." I told Maia while we were getting our hair fixed at the salon. Maia decided she wants her hair straight and I decided I wanted my hair curled. We also had a manicure so my nail color is now the same shade of red as my dress.
