Kacey heard a walking like scuffle outside in the gym. Adrenalin pumped through his body, and he turned around, practically running into his new 'humble abode' quietly closing the door. He grabbed the key, and struggled to put it into the key-hole. He finally got it, and twisted the key, hearing the bolt turn inside the door. He took three steps back, and bumped into the wall, startling himself. He walks over to the right side, and looks at the single piece of furniture in the oversized closet. It's a dresser, a place wherw he thought of putting all his school supplies, bit decided that he was going to get the clothes from his room. He lat down on the concrete floor, and went to sleep.
He woke up to the alarm on his phone going off. He stood up realizing he had no clothes to change into. He opened the door, and peered out into the dark locker room. He walked to his gym locker, and grabbed his clean gym clothes. He slowly strolled over to the shower, and stripped down.
He stepped into the shower, the hot water rollong down his back as he reached for the soap, washing his body.
He heard the door open, and he instantly turned the shower off. He heard footsteps walking towards the shower, and he heard someone droo their clothes on the floor. The sudden realization that there was only one shower hit him, and he panicked. The shower curtain opened, and he covered hes body shyly.
"Kacey?" Adam asked, shocked and not looking away.
"What are you looking at?" Kacey asked. "And why are you here?"
"I was going to take a shower, I don't have running water at my house right now." Adam said.
   "Oh, im sorry" Kacey said.
"It's alright," Adam said. "It'll get fixed tomorrow."
"Oh," Kacey said. "Well can you please let me finish showering?"
"Oh, yeah sorry." Adam said, closing the shower curtain.
Kacey started humming the verse to his favourite song as he got out of the shower. Adam looked at him, and smiling slightly.
"With you, I'm alive, like all the missing peices of my heart the finally colide, with you I'm a beautiful mess..." Adam sang, while Kacey got dressed.
His voice was like an Angel, just like his looks. His high cheek bones were prominent, and his lips were drawing Kacey in, and before Kacey knew it, his lips were on Adam's, and his hands were on Adam's sides, pulling him closer in.

One month later

Kacey wakes up, but not in his bed. He doesn't know where he is, or how he got there. He looks over, and then on the floor. Adam was laying on his side, asleep. Kacey sat up, looking around the room. He was in Adam's room. His head was spinning, and then he remembered last night.
He was at Adam's lake house, at a party. Adam had beer there, and there was only about six or seven people there, all kind of doing their own things. Mark, Adam's best friend, was trying to have a drinking race with Kacey, and Kacey said no.
Mark called him a "pussy" and Kacey gave in. He grabbed the beer, and raced Mark. He won the chugging race by a few seconds, but it was still a win. Kacey liked the rush one beer gave him, and he grabbed another.
"You probably shouldn't do that babe." Adam said, looking at Kacey. "That beer is really strong."
"I don't care." Kacey said, already half drunk. "It's beer, and I'm going to drink it."
"Fine, but dont do anything stupid."
"I won't babe." Kacey said, his words slurred and his walking wobbly.
Kacey snapped out of his train of thought by Adam's hand on his thigh. Adam was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking at Kacey.
"You ok babe?" Adam asked, a concerned look on his face and pity in his eyes.
"Yeah, the hangover feom last night is bad though." Kacey responded, laying back down.
Adam lay down next to Kacey, and wrappedhis arms around him, holdinghim tightly before kissing his cheek and getting up.
"I'm going to take a shower, you can join me if you want," Adam said. "but I don't think you should go tomschool today."
"Yeah, you're right babe." Kacey said, laying down. "I'll just stay here for now, and take a shower after you."
"Ok babe," Adam said, looking the opposite direction of Kacey. "I hope you feel better baby." Adam said, before taking his shirt off, and walking out of the room.
Kacey rolled over onto his sidex and looked at the wall. He wondered why he had even given in to peer pressure, he was a good lid, despitehis slightly slipping grades after his last school district. He had a few grades below the average, and only two above, yet he was seen as a 'lousy student' by moat of his teachers and the principal. He started working his ass off to impress a good college in middle school, although high school is where everything starts to matter. He sat back up, and took off his shirt, and walked to the bathroom down the hall, and stepped in with Adam.

When Kacey stepped out, his body hurt, he had the water too hot again. And he was red, everywhere. Adam wasn't able to handle the heat, so he got out, and got dressed. When Kaceygoy into Adam's room, Adam was asleephlon his bed, passed out from last night's hangover. So Kacey walked over, pulled the blanket from beneath Adam, lay next to him, and pulled the blanket over both of them, cuddleing Adam as he slept.

Kacey woke up to his phone going off, it was his mom calling him again. She didnt want his stuff at her house, and she also wanted him to come back. She's a mess right now. Her boyfriend doesn't like her son, her son is living in the school gym locker room. And she has no money, and Kacey stopped paying their rent and bills.
He answered the phone with a "What?" Before hanging up after hearing her start yelling.
Adam woke up. And ask what what that was about, and looked sincerely into Kacey's eyes, bofere pulling him into a hug.
