A new day starts and once again I woke up late so I decided that I will not go to school today.Wanna know the reason? Tinatamad ako. Yep, That's the reason.
Gising na ako pero tinatamad parin akong bumangon kaya tumulala muna ako ng mga ilang minuto bago tumayo at mag hilamos.
When I started feeling hungry I walked towards the kitchen and look around to see if someone's still eating or it's just me because eating a breakfast now is already too late.
I started eating my breakfast when I saw my father going in here so I greeted him "Goodmorning Dad!"
"Goodmorning Lily" he greeted back as he started to get some coffee.
When I finished eating my breakfast, pumunta ulit ako sa kwarto ko at naligo,
After doing my things I took my camera with me and get out of my room.I'm planning to walk around our village and I remembered that we have a park here so I'm planning to stay there until the sun sets.
Well it's 1:30 in the afternoon now and even if I decided to go to school today its already too late.
I started to walk around as I see the other houses, I suddenly thought that there are other people in here too but it's too quiet so I thought that they are busy and I think I'm right.
When I arrived at the park, I got surprised because I didn't expect that there will be children playing in here.
I shrugged as I walk towards the tree and sat there.
I was just staring at the children when I saw them laugh so I immediately get my camera then captured that moment. Kinuhanan ko sila ng litrato ng walang pahintulot nila, ayos lang naman yon diba?
Sometimes I wish to be a kid again because the only problem we have when we are a kid is sleeping in the afternoon at yong kung paano natin pipilitin si Mom na makipaglaro sa labas.
I miss those moments where I would pretend sleeping so that I could play when 'I woke up'.
I smiled as I remember those silly things that I did and my smile became a chuckle when I remembered Keon who has a make up and wearing a dress because Mom said it would be fun. Miss ko na si mommy.
How I miss being a kid.
I only watched the kids play as I wait for the sunset. It's fun watching them, they look so free and happy.
I sigh and closed my eyes as I think on what should I paint next. Thinking what should I paint when I'm sure na hindi ko nanaman ito matatapos.
I'm thinking about painting something that'll make you feel like you're a child again but the problem is I can't finish the art because I don't know how.
This feeling sucks because you can't freely do what you want to because something is holding you back. And I don't know what it is.
"You're Fury, right?" someone asked so I opened my eyes and looked at her.
"I'm Rue" she said then smiled at me.
"Fury" I simply said to her that made her smile widely.
"Wow! I didn't expect to see you here and I didn't know that we live in the same village" she said.
"Me too, I didn't expect that I would see someone who's from that energetic weird group" I told her.
I saw her laugh because of what I have just said and I accidentally saw some bruises on her arm, she's wearing a long sleeve so you will not see it unless you're close to her or whatever.
I didn't ask her about the bruises that I saw because it might be something personal or just pure stupidity.
She stopped laughing and ask me some questions "What do you think about life?"
"I think life is unfair" I answered her.
"I knew you'll say that" she said then chuckled.
"But for me I think Life is fair" she told me
"Because we have friends that we can treat as family and families that will support us kapag hirap na hirap na tayo at naniniwala din ako na lahat tayo ay pantay pantay lang."
"I think it's still fair because we have them" she said then smiled at me.
"Why do you think life is unfair?" she asked.
"Wala lang, I think life is unfair because even though we are born equally iba iba tayo ng karanasan, 'we're in the same boat'? nah not at all, some have a luxurious boat, some may have an ordinary boat and some may have a boat who's close in breaking" I answered her.
"I didn't expect that you'll talk to me." she said.
"pero kahit na dimo ako sagutin sa mga tanong ko, kakausapin parin kita."
And that's the reason why I'm talking to her because she will not stop even if I'm staying silent here.
"Why do you keep clinging into life when you can end it now?" she asked seriously so I know that she's not making fun of suicide.
"I don't know, maybe because you want someone to save you? or maybe because you don't mean to end your life?" I answered unsure.
I saw her smiled sadly as she answered her own question
"Maybe because when you said 'I want it to end' You mean you want the pain that your feeling to end, you want to cut the people who just holds you back in your life, you want to end the problems that your carrying.
You want to end it because it's becoming too much that you can't feel anything anymore. Maybe you want to end it but not by taking your life."
I was shocked at her answer because it seems like she's been there.
"Some people doesn't need a saving from someone because they can save their self and others need saving because.. they can't save their self because they already got drowned by their thoughts and feelings."
"Did you--" I was about to ask her when she cut me off
"I just know... someone who's been there, myself. " She said but she whispered something I didn't hear.
"Do you know why I asked you that even though we just met?" Rue asked.
"It's because I want to know your answer. I'm curious about what would be your answer." she explained to me.
"I didn't expect you to ask me those serious questions and I thought you're the silent one in your group." I said then chuckled.
"The silent ones are the one who have a lot of questions to ask and they have a lot to say" she answered.
"What are you doing here? Hindi ka pumasok?" I asked her.
"Got bored in the house, Yep, how about you?" she answered.
"Wala akong magawa sa bahay, Tinanghali ako ng gising tapos okay lang naman kay Dad na hindi ako pumasok ngayon" I answered.
"and I'm also waiting for the sunset" I informed her.
I didn't notice the time because I got lost in my own thoughts, her question, her voice and her eyes. In the end I ended thinking about her that's why I didn't notice that the sun is already setting.
We talked for a while and when I saw the scenery in front of me, I captured it using my camera. I saw Rue standing so I find a place where the angle would be good and capture the moment where Rue is standing while watching the sun sets and the different colors or shades of sky is kissing her.
I stared at her while she's enjoying the view in front of her, she looks happy and free, like a heavy thing has been lifted up to her shoulder.
When she felt my gaze at her, she smiled at me while whispering something I didn't hear.
"The view is beautiful isn't? but things like this don't last forever because after this darkness will come.. "
