Geoff Bishop
I sighed at my alarm as it began to play the radio station it was set to. I wondered if today was going to be any different from the summer days, all I knew was that it wasn't going to be like the good ol'days that was for sure. I gazed at my left forearm as I laid in my bed, wrapped in gauze, the artificial arm at least looked close enough like my skin color, I noted as I got up from the bed. While my forearm was wrapped, it wasn't covered completely, so I could still see the brownish, tough, plastic-like material that was my artificial limb.
After taking a short and quick shower I looked at the clock before sighing and putting the rest of my clothes on. Elizabeth was probably waiting for me, or had just started to wait for me. I gathered my supplies for my arm if it were to be damaged or cleaned, and walked out the door to my car, heading straight for Liz's house immediately.
*HONK HONK*
I jumped out of my car and waited outside the passenger door for my closest and pretty much only friend. Why does shit have to be so complicated? I thought about my life and all the curve balls I had been thrown before I almost got tackled by the girl in question. The air in my lungs was released forcefully, but that didn't compare to the inner most joy and emotion I felt from seeing Elizabeth again.
I walked in with Lizzie before leaving and going down the Junior hallway to my locker, as I had already grabbed my schedule at the open house a few weeks prior, but I pulled it out just to be sure about it.

PERIOD 8: PEER AMBASSADORS ~ MS. HALL ~ LIBRARYI reread my schedule before realising most of my classes were with Liz. Small world I guess. I had left most of my stuff in my locker from the open house, so I began to walk up the stairs to my homeroom, before seeing in the corner of my eye Jake Hudson approach Elizabeth at her locker. Now when I had lost my arm last year, Liz was literally the only person I could lean on. However, not soon after that tragedy, Jake thought it was a good idea to cheat on his sophomore girlfriend of maybe 3 months, with a junior girl. A girl notorious of being wiling to sleep with anyone who smiled in her direction. I had liked Liz before they started dating, but when they did I stopped trying, and had began to go out with Ashley and Dylan more often, well did anyway.
My left hand tightened as I prepared to connect the almost hard as metal ceramic fist to the bastards face. Depending on your view, Jake was either extremely lucky or extremely unlucky as the minute bell rang and I walked into the classroom behind the two of them, unsurprisingly, going unnoticed by the girl of my affection and took the seat on the left of her. I glared at Jake as he walked in but refrained from anything else. I sighed for the seemingly millionth time, either I was going to murderer someone this year, or I would be burning off a lot of stress throughout it.
