('｡• ω •｡') [Love Trouble] Chapter Five: Saying Goodbye

After hearing a doorbell, Ben rushed to his door to see Jimin standing on the other side. Ben silently opened the door wider, urging him to come in. 

"Couch?" Jimin asked, breaking the silence.

"Yeah," Ben responded.

They both sat on the same couch, sitting close to each other. 

"I just want to say," Ben started, "I'm sorry about to reaction I had. It wasn't-"

"Stop, stop," Jimin stopped him, "You have every right to have that reaction. What I did wasn't okay."

Ben shook his head, "I'm just scared, Chim."

"I know," Jimin replied, "I...I have to leave tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" Ben sighed, feeling his eyes water.

"I promise I didn't know until after the argument," Jimin blurted, "I didn't think it was the right time to say."

"I know," Ben nodded, "So this is our last night together?"

"Not last," Jimin responded, "Unless we don't fix this."

Ben was silent, staring at the ground so Jimin wouldn't see him cry.

"Ben," Jimin started, "I can't lose you. You're the most important thing in my life."

"You're the most important thing in mine," Ben responded, looking up to face him.

"I want to try and make it work," Jimin announced, "I know it'll be hard but when I get back, I promise it'll be worth it."

"I want to try too," Ben told him, "We can do it."

Ben finally faced him, tears sliding down his face. Jimin stared back at him with a smile.

"Don't cry, my little flower," Jimin cooed, pulling Ben into a hug.

They stayed in the hug for a while. Jimin's grip seemed to be getting tighter as he sniffled from time to time.

"You tired?" Jimin asked Ben. 

"Kinda," Ben responded, "But you'll leave tomorrow. I have to stay awake."
