According to some resources, Alabama did not allow people who were in interracial relationships to marry until 2000 despite the Supreme Court ruling of the Loving v. Virginia in June 12, 1967. A little hard to believe until you start talking to some people in Alabama and realize some truth to it. Also if you are friends with a medium who can see ghosts and see how those ghosts die. You will learn some horrible stuff that have happened to people in the past in places that you are living in. I am going to tell a story about what one medium saw in the woods next to a church in Montevallo, Alabama and the story is not a happy one. It will also make you uncomfortable due to mentions of racism and sexual assault.
As the medium entered the trail, they could have sworn that the sign said get out instead of the name. They shrugged and pressed forward. Soon mosquitos and gnats swarmed the medium but they did not bite. It was like whatever was there did not want the medium to know what happen there and to get out while the chance was there. The medium was determined to see the small creek that their friend was talking about. As soon as the medium got there, they were given a vision of what happened there.
It was dark, only headlights and some torches gave off light. There was shouting, frightened screaming, and crying for the torture to end. A group of white men were torturing an interracial couple who got secretly married. Some of them were physically beating up the black man while the rest were holding down the white woman as they rape her. Then the white men bashed in the black man's head in to the tiny sewer wall and snapped the women's neck before burning both bodies as they laughed. The saddest part was their clothes matched to fashion worn in 1980's.
As the medium knows, there is no crime that matches what they saw in police records. So either it didn't happen, wasn't reported, or something else. So it is just now a small rumor since mediums are not widely accepted by people and a tiny town doesn't have funds to do investigations based a rumored crime that may not have happened.
