A/N: So, this chapter took a while to write. Well, more like it took me a while to figure out what to write. I wrote it halfway three different times before coming up with the final version. I had to delete and write and delete and write because I couldn't decide on something. I didn;t like what I had before but I think the final is alright. The song to the right kind of pertains to the chapter, iand that's really the reason I picked it. And I mainly picked it because of the title of the chapter. Like I said, it's hard to find music that fits what you're writing, but I like it when I can add a song and a photo, which is also hard to find since their really aren't many photos of Stein when he was younger and virtually none of Spirit. I did try to draw some, well not a child version but an adult version of Stein and it ended up looking more like Spirit and then it just turned out horrible so I've realized that I have a hard time drawing Soul Eater characters, except for Patti, I can kinda draw her. Anyway, that was way off topic. Though, if any of you draw I would love to see your work. I'm not really sure if you can send photos on here but if you can't then I have a link to a fb anime appreciation page where you can share them with me in my bio. So, back to the chapter. I really hope you enjoy it, I mean, I tried my best so I hope it's somewhat decent. Please comment and Vote! As always, I love to hear your thoughts and your feedback. Thank you to those of you who do, I really do appreciate it.
P.S. I found a photo that I am gonna use as Spirit for this chapter. I edited to look more like him, so please tell me what you think about that as well?

Chapter Four: Rain
Ichigo approached the tree with lazy footsteps. She wasn’t in too much of a hurry to go back inside. She really just wanted to join the two boys under the tree, though her mother wanted the three of them inside. Storm clouds collected in the sky, grey and dingy. It wasn’t a particularly ugly scene. She informed the boys of what their mother wanted and then watched the two of them leave. Hakase first, then Spirit, a silly smile plastered to his face. She sighed, closing her eyes on the sight. It was time for her to return to Death City, to the DWMA she decided.
She had only returned because her brother was feeling lonely. He was sad when she’d left, he was used to watching people leave. He was used to watching his papa go and stay away for long stretches of time, such was the duty of someone who worked for lord Death. Though now, Spirit had Hakase and things seemed like they would be better if she returned to school. She found that she missed her friends, her teachers, her weapon partner. She would discuss her decision with her mother later that night and then contact lord Death.
She leaned against the tree, sliding down it to the ground. She would stay there until the rain started to fall.

Hakase walked with quiet footsteps, the boy beside him making far more noise. On a normal day the sound would irritate Hakase, though it wasn’t a normal day. It was a considerably better day than usual. The book he had received was pressed against Hakase’s chest, along with the other one he was reading. his arms were wrapped around them. The one that Spirit had given him was much heavier than his own, adding to the initial weight he had to carry. It was a hard cover instead of a paperback like Hakase was used to.
His mother usually wouldn’t buy him nice books. She said that he didn’t need to be spoiled. Though, his father always gave his mother money to buy Hakase nicer books. She usually spent a large sum of that money on herself, telling Hakase that she would punish him if he told his father. Hakase never did tell his father, though. He never would have told, even if his mother hadn’t told him not to. He respected his mother, he loved her, or so he thought that he should love her.
