Chapter 8

Monday mornings seemed to drag on. It was either the fact that it was Monday or, it was Present Mic's English lesson that never seemed to end. Though, that doesn't matter right now, as the young couple wasn't paying attention but was constantly looking at their phones. Why? Well, Eri was ill this morning and they wanted to make sure that she was okay, to put their minds at rest. However sutle they tried to be, Mic ended up catching Jiro glancing at her phone. " Jiro! Detention for looking at your phone in class! I let it slip once but not twice, ya dig?" His voice seemed to break everyone out of their boring sate. This made the purplenette angsty, all she wanted was to go home and see Eri and Light. " At break?" She asked. " Sorry little listener, but it's after school," Jiro groaned and rested her head on the desk, internally cursing the blond out.

There wasn't anything they could do in class so it was decided to meet Mic after class and try to talk things out. Just like the other times when they tried to do something civil, something had to come up. This time, it was Nezu. He came to steal Izuku and the duo was able to convince Mic to drop the after-school detention for extra homework.

Nezu seemed to have a slight hop in his step after seeing Izuku kiss Kyouka on the check before leaving. It was cute and Nezu loved the idea of young love, he himself was a shipper and loved to help romance blossom. Back to the matter at hand, the greenette sat opposite the principle of UA, a large smile painted onto his lips. " So, Midoryia-Kun. I would just like to know if you know or have any connections with the Vigilante; Hitori De?" The smile never leaving his face as he asked Izuku the question.

Deciding that the Principle has nothing on him, Izuku was going to answer as truthfully as he could without giving anything away. " I do, in fact, know him under the mask. I'd say that I know a lot about him," A smirk found its way onto Izuku's face as he leaned forwards. Nezu loved it when his puzzled gave him hints while he tried to figure it out. And Izuku Midoryia was Nezu's favourite puzzle to crack.

The information that a UA student had contact with Hitori and that they knew who was under the mask was a huge leap in the direction of figuring out who was behind it. Tsukachi nearly jumped from his chair once he received the call from Nezu. Eraserhead had been talking to him prior to this out the vigilante so it was a shock when the detective almost leapt out of his seat. " What was that about?" The ravenette asked the other.

" A student of UA knows who Hitori is under the mask!" He practically shouted his reply. " What student?" Part of him hoped it was his problem child but another part wanted it to be someone else. " Umm, an Izuku Midoryia. I think his girlfriend also knows as well," The room seemed to grow colder as the weight fell onto his chest. It seemed to make more sense now. The fascination with vigilante, not wanting to catch them and the extensive knowledge of Hitori. Maybe he could apologize to Midoryia through Hitori. It was a chance, a small one but it was still a chance.
