*time skip to the day they turn to Hogwarts*
Hermione's POV
"Good bye dear."
"Mother, get off." Draco said as his mother smothered him with kisses as the house elves begin to lug the many trunks and cases out of the manor and into the waiting coach.
Hermione and Bellatrix were cackling at the light pink tint on Draco's cheeks as his mother said goodbye outside the house. The two cousins were preparing for their trip to platform nine and three quarters and they ere going to run late if their goodbyes wouldn't finish soon.
"Goodbye mother." Hermione said, finally calming herself down enough to say her farewell to her mother.
Bellatrix looked deep into her daughters eyes and clutched her hand tightly for a moment before pressing her forehead against her daughters. Then she whispered under her breath as she and her daughter shared a mad smirk.
"Give 'em hell little raven." Hermione's eyes glinted with her mothers own crazy look that seemed to have been passed onto her.
"How could I not." Her mother held her cheek for a moment her eyes full of absolute pride before handing Hermione something. Her ring.
"To remind you who you are even in your darkest hour." Her mother said, "now hurry along, you've got some people to outdo."
...
Hermione and Draco slid out of their carriage that had been disguised so as the muggles would only see two 16 year olds coming out a cab while magic folk saw the large black stallions the Malfoy family prided themselves on.
The two strode to the platform and slipped unseen into the wall between platform nine and ten as their house elves dealt with the luggage. The crowd parted as Draco walked past but the whispers truly started when their eyes fell on Hermione.
After all she was a living breathing carbon copy of a young Bellatrix Lestrange, except for her eyes. They were more frightening and hauntingly beautiful than her mother's had ever been.
Once they reached the train they instantly went for the Slytherin's section. Thankfully they didn't need to go through any other parts of the train and meet any people who would ask annoying questions and found their friends compartment easily.
"Hey guys" Draco said, plopping himself down by Blaise and Daphne as Pansy moved away from the window and patted the chair beside her, gesturing for Hermione to sit beside her.
Pansy's POV *time skip about an hour after the train started*
"Hermione?" Pansy whispered slightly in their quiet compartment.
The rest of their friends had left the room a few moments earlier and gone to say hello to their friends in Ravenclaw or for Draco and Theodore to terrorise the Gryffindors who had apparently looked at them funny as they arrived at the train.
Hermione looked up and only now did Pansy fully appreciate the Lestrange girl's eyes. They were stormy in a calm beautiful way. Violent like heavy rain in a calm ocean and deep and brown with flecks of gold and silver as they shone in the setting sun that leaked into their compartment.
"Yes Pans, what wrong?" Hermione's eyes creased slightly at the corners, "You sound troubled."
Pansy let out a small breath and shut her eyes for a moment before meeting Hermione's stormy eyes.
"I just wanted you to know..." After a small nod from Hermione Pansy continued.
"I- I'm Bi- bis-" She let out a frustrated sigh, she had come out before. Why was it so damn hard to say that word in front of this gorgeous dark haired beauty.
"Bisexual?" Hermione finished for her at the sight of Pansy's clear struggle. Pansy nodded bracing herself in fear of rejection.
"Yeah, that..." Her voice must've clearly given away her fear for Hermione shut her book and grabbed Pansy's shaking hand.
"Hey, it's ok," She said calmly "You swing both way's there's nothing wrong with that."
Pansy sighed with relief as Hermione giggled. Pansy's chest instantly inflated slightly at the euphoric sounds that left Hermione's lips.
"Thank god you're not homophobic." Pansy said.
"Homophobic? I would hope not, how on earth could I be a lesbian and be homophobic?" Hermione said, un phased by what she had said and how Pansy looked positively gleeful at her suddenly coming out.
"So you like girls." Pansy stated her face not falling from a delighted smile.
"Who couldn't?" Hermione said, they both looked at each other for a moment before saying at the exact same time.
"DRACO MALFOY." Then they collapsed in heaps of giggles before their friends entered the room with astonished looks on their faces at the sight of two girls laughing their heads off on the floor of the train.
"Guys?" Daphne said as she watched her friends laugh, unable to stop the giggles that were threatening to pass her lips. Eventually the entire group couldn't help but laugh along with the girls infectious laughter.
But then Hogwarts's lit towers came into their sightline.
Pansy glanced towards Hermione who's eyes glinted mischievously as she caught Pansy's eyes and both girl's knew it was going to be an eventful year.
