He heaves a tired sigh--walking out of his bathroom as he throws the towel somewhere at the bed which initially rested around his neck. A groan leaving his parted chapped lips when he finally plops down on his bed; his right leg in an instant kicking the same towel now off of the bed as he smiles having the bed all to himself.
Today--was a busy day at school. It is nearing the session ending examination in just a few weeks and goddamn was he tired--studying and giving his all. Afterall, he is a Grade A student.
Now, just as his brown orbs were relaxing and eyelids smoothly coming down--the door abruptly opens as the same pair proceeds to twitch before he calls in a weak voice, "mom.."
A beautiful airy voice responds, "oh, sweetie. Are you tired, Kook?"
Jungkook bites his lips already knowing that she have some work for him; he sucks in a fresh breath before sitting up straight as he takes in his mom's appearance. A pretty smile playing on her lips and..Jungkook smiles, giving in whatever it is she came for.
"Nope. What is it? Do you need something mom?"
The mother giggles back, coming forward and sitting infront of her son before she caresses his cheeks and Jungkook immediately relaxes. "Mhm, tell me mom.."
"I know you're tired, Kook."
Jungkook nods.
"But-"
"Yes."
She pinches his cheeks before ruffling his hairs as she finally gets on the what she came for. "You see, a family shifted into the empty apartment next to ours yesterday and well..they haven't finished settling down yet. I mean obviously--you can't settle at a completely new neighborhood this quickly since you know it becomes hard to-"
Jungkook laughs, bringing her hand down and holding it delicately. "Just tell me what is there for me?"
She almost sighs but then laughs softly at Jungkook's actions, her eyes curling and matching with her son's. They both live alone together since the father left them at an quite early stage. It's not like it much affects them both now--since they both are pretty much all they need.
They love eachother, so much.
She threads her thin fingers through his soft brown locks; eyes scanning his face, "I was wondering if you could go help our new neighbours in settling then? I also prepared some rice cakes, maybe give and welcome them with those as well?"
Jungkook's lips forms a pout and he scoffs lightly, "you never even make rice cakes for me!"
"Well that's cause' you have this rice allergy baby!" She eyes him unbelievably, "that's the same reason for which we barely eat rice-"
"That's so ridiculous mom!"
"Huh?"
"This weird allergy, I mean." Jungkook whines, continuing, "even my friends make fun of that!"
'Allergy because of rice. How funny Jeon Jungkook.' He mimicks.
His mom slaps his arm, standing up shortly after as the laughter dies down. "We can't change that now, can we, Kook?"
He sighs and stands up. "Right."
"Yes, so now forget that allergy of yours and go greet the neighbours!" And then she turns around and exits his room.
Jungkook spares a glance at his mirror, checking his overall appearance before ruffling his hairs and huffs, "finee!!"
The lady smiles from the kitchen, neatly wrapping the rice cakes in a pretty box and then shouts, "you look handsome, baby. Now, take this and make a nice impression!"
"I'M NOT A BABY ANYMORE, MAMA." He picks up the box and glares at his mother.
She raises her hands in defeat, "but you are always one to me. Pretty Jungkookie baby."
He hisses back as his bunny teeths makes him look adorable and then walks out; a smile setting on his lips a few seconds later as he steps closer to a new chapter in his life; oblivious to the fact that he was going to meet a women whom he would love as much as he loved his mother.
