Chapter 9: Angelica

(Alex's POV)

Well, I did it. I finally told someone everything that happened. Well, almost everything but that's not important. Lafayette had his mouth hung open, while John had concern written all over him. I wish I could tell you what was happening in their brains.
"Mon ami, have you told mom and dad about this?" Lafayette asked. Shoot, I forgot about them.
I chuckle. "You guys are the first people I have told in a long time. Nobody else knows and I intend to keep it that way for awhile. I need to build trust in everyone else. Peggy's getting there."
"We won't say anything until you're ready Alex." John assures me. "It took me awhile to open up as well. I get it."
I smile at the two men. We spent the rest of the night and the morning after sleeping, talking, and eating. It was Sunday, so none of us had school. John decided to go home and take his chances with his dad. Sorry, Henry. The Gang was set to meet later today, so I would see him then.

(Time Skip because I'm lazy)

Lafayette and I get to The Schuyler's house a little after four. Everyone was already there, including John. We all sat in the living room, talking about random stuff. Angelica cleared her throat, which made everyone quiet.
"Umm, so I have an announcement for everyone. Even you two." She says, gesturing to her sisters. "I'm moving to London to get married to a rich business owner named John Church. I will have to drop out of high school and move Saturday. Friday will be my last day. I'm sorry to keep this from you guys, but I just couldn't bear the thought of leaving. My father says I must, so I will be leaving." She says with tears streaming down her face.
At first, no one said a word. I think it was the initial shock. I just met her and I really don't want her to leave. She's too much like the mom to us. Peggy was the first one to break the silence.
"Well, Angie. I'm not supportive of the decision, but I am supportive of my big sister. If this is what you have to do, then go do it. Always remember we all love you so much and we will always stay by your side."
I speak up next. "I second that."
Everyone mutters in agreement. Angelica's eyes flood with even more tears. "Thank you guys so much. This really isn't easy for me, so it's super amazing to hear you say that."
We all crowd around Angie to give her the best and biggest hug. I wonder what they are all thinking.

(Angelica's POV)

It's official, these are the best friends ever

(Eliza's POV)

I-I can't lost my big sister like this! I need her for the rest of the year! Frick! What am I gonna do?

(Peggy's POV)

Wow. I always thought Eliza would be the first one of us to marry considering her in and out relationships.

(Lafayette's POV)

Well, it's gonna be super damn hard to say goodbye to her. Les choses ne seront pas les mêmes sans elle.

(Hercules's POV)

Damn, Lafayette's gonna be devastated when we get home. Remind myself to buy his favorite chocolates.
