he just sort of, lingered there for a second. not even knowing where he was. though he did have vivid memories of this cottage house.. he couldn't exactly pinpoint where he could be.
And then, it clicked.
Lukso province. Lukso province.
And then more things started to click. He felt different. Shorter than usual. And he was covered in a blanket. He analysed his sleeve. He was wearing.. traditional kurtan children's sleeping clothes. He wasn't a child anymore.
Oh god.
He let out a loud scream without even meaning to.
Fuck.
Loud footsteps drew closer.. he needed to hide. He didn't know why people were invading or why he was here. Screaming wasn't a good idea. He quickly located the closet next to him and hid himself inside of it. He brainstormed every possibility.

The sound of a door creaking snapped him out of his thoughts. he slightly opened the closet to see a tall figure of a woman. 'Kurapika, what language is that?' said his mother from his bedside, 'You must be really out of it, you should probably rest a little longer'-
She was cut off by a yelp from the child she was trying to comfort.
'M-mom..?' He said, with a more curiously-sad tone. The tears were flowing in rapidly now. No, this wasn't like him to cry..
'Mom.' He said more confidently.
'You should really rest and get up when you feel a bit better. You're talking gibberish.'
Oh right, Kurtan.
'Mama.' He said, in kurtan this time round.
'Yes?'
'Can..um..' He didn't even bother asking. He just rushed into her arms and sobbed. He didn't know what was happening. He just knew he liked it. His mother was there, her soft voice was speaking to him again, comforting him lovingly. It was definitely the latter. That made sense. They were in the dark continent. And as they were told, its so mysterious that nobody knows what's to be found there. So, technically.. Anything could happen.

Including time travel, apparently..
