Jack's Story

"Huh badathabada buh?" Mumbled Jack as he scrambled to reach his z.a.p." What do you want at this hour Summer?! Why aren't you sleeping?!" Jack groaned and remembered when Summer and Dylan were ignorant young teenagers who slept in . " Well me and Dylan were wondering if we could borrow a car to take into town." Jack turned on his bedroom light and while still rubbing sleep out of his eyes asked her," what for, nothing's open till at least 9:30 on Saturdays." He heard nothing in the other end until Summer spoke again with a quiver in her voice," well me and Dylan were planning on going to the hospital for an ultrasound." Jack processed her words before realizing what she'd said. "Why do you need an ultrasound, did something come up in your last doctors appointment!?" He heard a small laugh on the other end," no,no,no nothing like that. I'm not sick,I'm pregnant." Jack sat up and started laughing, what so we're going to have another member of team zenith, an addition to the family?!" He got out of bed and pulled on a shirt, he remembered when his new "family " first became a family, the kids were a little ignorant and he was a little lazy and careless. " Ya, but I don't know if it has any powers though so it might just be a helper like Dr.grant." Replied Summer. Jack processed this and thought about what would happen if the baby had no powers, he thought about the jealousy that would rise from the child who had to just sit and watch while Cindy, Tucker, Summer, Dylan, Marsha, Connor and himself did amazing things." That would suck but it seems highly unlikely since both you and Dylan have powers, but if it does you'd better be ready to explain to your child why he or she can't do anything special." Jack paused to brush his teeth then continued," Anyways I'll meet you in the main hall and drive you in about 10 minutes." Jack left his room and pulled out his Z.A.P to call Marsha.
