(Everyone is surrounding Ragini, as she cries on the stairs.)

Maya: Ragini, kya hua? Aise kyun ro rahi hain? Kuch bolegi nahin toh how will we know what is wrong?

Abir: Please Ragini, kuch toh bol.

Ragini: Kuch hi der mein sab log aa jaayenge. Manik bhi aa jaayega. Maine sab tayaari kar li. (She says looking up from her hands. Tears were just flowing down her cheeks.)

Maya: Haan, woh toh dikh raha hain. Then what's the problem? (Maya sat next to Ragini, and put a hand on her shoulder.)

Ragini: I forgot the cake! Order ki sab ki lekin I forgot to go pick it up. Abhi yeh cake ki receipt pad mein se giri tab yaad aaya.(Ragini shows them the receipt.) Everything is over now. Cake ke bina kaisi birthday?

Abir: Bas? Itni si baat? Iske liye itne aasu bahe jaa rahe hain? Iske liye you made me leave the room in only a towel. It's okay na. Hota hain. I will go get it.

Ragini: You will?! (She looks at Abir with hopeful eyes.)

Abir: Of course I will. Just give me a minute. I'll go get ready, and then go. (He leaves to go get ready.)

Maya: Kya tu bhi. Itni si baat ko itna bada bana diya. Aa rahi hain tumhari cake. Ab khush?

Ragini: (Nods in a yes, and hugs Maya.)

(Abir runs down the stairs, and heads out to go get the cake.)

(Change of Scene)

(Everyone hides in Manik's home, and waits for him to come back. After sometime, Manik returns and talks to himself.)

Manik: Kya yaar aaj meri birthday hain aur kisi ko yaad bhi nahin. Baaki sabko chodo, even Raagini doesn't remember. Chalo I guess this is what happens as life moves on. I will just go upstairs, change, and sleep. Kal waise bhi college hain.

(As soon he steps down into the living area, the lights come on, confetti is popped, and everyone pops out screaming SURPRISE! Manik is shocked to see all his friends, his love,and his classmates. Everyone was there just to wish him. Abir comes to high-five, and hug him first.)

Manik: Tum sab? Yahan? Aur itni sari decorations? Kab? (Manik asked, still shocked seeing all of them there.)

Abir: Ab kya karein? Your girlfriend really loves you. She planned all of this, and told us not to mention a word to you. Tumhe ghar se bahar nikalna, pura din laga ke decorations karna, it was all her.

(Manik eagerly looks for Ragini to pull her into his warm embrace, but couldn't find her.)

Manik: Kahan hain woh?

Abir: Woh... (Two guys in front of Manik part sideways to show Ragini standing right behind them admiring Manik.)

(Manik runs to Ragini and just hugs her.)

Manik: Thank you so much for making my birthday so special! I love you soo much!

Ragini: I love you too Manik.

(Manik and Ragini separate.)

Manik: Ab samajh mein aaya ki mujhe subha se ghar kyun nahin aane diya jaa raha tha. I was being babysat na?
