This girl has medium length reddish brown hair that extends down past her shoulders. She goes by the name of Kennedy. Kennedy March. Beautiful name isn't it? She's the most popular girl in all of JR High. Loads of friends and all the smarts anyone could imagine. But like all stories, there's a down side, she doesn't even know I exist.
I turn off the water and step out into the cold air. The towel I grab is warm and I fixate it on me perfectly. I dry myself, unlock the door, and go back into my room. By then it's a little light out and you can start to hear the birds chirping. It looks like a normal morning of Ohio summer.
I put on some clothes that probably don't match, but I don't notice or care. I eat a bowl of cereal and make myself some lunch. My dad is already getting up and is starting to get dressed to take me to the bus stop. When I finish making my lunch, I go back into the bathroom and brush my teeth. All my books are in my backpack, and I'm ready to go to school.
There's only 2 days of school left. My summer plans is that our family is going up to Maine to see my moms parents and stay there for a big chunk of the summer. Once we get back, I plan on going to the pool with some of my friends and playing video games for the remainder of my freedom.
Me and my dad start heading down the road to the bus stop and when we get there he turns to me and says, "It's almost Friday bud, you excited for your last day?"
"Yeah. I guess ill miss my teachers and stuff since ill be in high school next year though." I reply in a boring, low tone.
"Yeah well cheer up son, this summer will be nice." He says in a cheerful way.
"I know dad. There's the bus. I love you dad. See you tonight."
"Alright have a good day. I love you too son."
My bus I guess you could call it the, "ghetto bus" because a lot of weird and bad kids ride on it. I'm the only good kid. The only one who plays sports and is smart. So when I step foot on it all I hear is yelling, swear words, and music. Not even good music. Just screaming gross lyrics.
