I find an empty seat towards the front and I take it the instant I see it. I don't like to be around these kind of people, especially alone. I pull out my phone and headphones and start listening to music. Good music. I listen to mostly 90's Rock, like, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Stuff like that.

While trying to block out all the different stuff going on around me, another picture of Kennedy comes in my head. She's so beautiful. Not too skinny, not too fat, just right. Face like a goddess. This time, me and her and walking on the sidewalk together holding hands and laughing.

The bus bounces up an down so hard that I snap out of my fantasy. I take a deep sigh and change the song on my phone. By then, I look out the window and see my school in the distance, Snow Spring Jr High.

We pull up to the school and I get up, walk off, and proceed towards the double doors. When I enter the building I see kids younger than me running around, yelling, and playing a game that seems to be like tag or something. I just walk right past all of them not even focusing for a moment. I reach in my pocket to turn up my music louder.

I also see a kid almost taller than me, much bigger muscles than I could ever have, with a little kid under his arm. The bully of my school, Lance Woods. I never liked him, but luckily he leaves me alone. Again, I walk right past the two not wanting to get involved.

I walk into the gymnasium and sit down by my friend Justin on the bleachers. "What's up bro?" He asks.

"Nothin much man. Livin life to the fullest, ya know?" I say as I shove him a little with my elbow.

"Yeah," he laughs in respond.

"I saw this new kid 'hugging' big Lance over in the hall way. Looked like the newbies first beating by 'em," I say.

"Oh sick! Glad it ain't us though. I don't feel like getting beat up today. But like always, don't get involved," Justin says as he stands up, "Ill see ya later dude, have a good day,"

"You too," I respond

The bell rings and I make my way to my first period class. I get into the class and sit down at my desk. I watch as the rest of the class fills in. I take another sigh and pull out my pencil.
