Akari woke up to find her face resting against a red jersey, she blinked and looked down to see that someone was carrying her.
"Kenma, she's awake and just in time as well." Tetsurou's voice spoke softly.
Akari turned to see Kenma's gold eyes staring back at her, she blushed and looked away, her stomach fluttering.
"Oh- Kenma, you can put me down! Sorry, I've put on a lot of weight since last year!" She laughed sheepishly, loosening her grip on his neck. He shook his head and grabbed her hands gently wrapping them back around his neck, he turned his face away to hide his own blush.
"Little one, you've lost weight. I bet your health is bad again too. You need to tell us."
"Tetsu, its nothing. No biggie, I'll handle this one fine. I've been fighting for years." She smiled.
Tetsurou knew she wasn't trying to convince him, hell. She was trying to convince herself this time. She always got like this when she was getting worse, she never admitted it to the boys because she hated making them worry.
He sighed and nodded to keep her happy, she was stubborn about her health.
"There's my apartment block, do you remember what floor?"
"Uh, Kenma does! I think?"
"Yeah, um... Top floor, room 6A right?"
"Oh! I'm surprised you remembered, it's been a while since your last visit. Like almost 2 years?" She giggled quietly.
Guilt set in the boys chests. They hadn't visited because they had left on a bad note, Tetsurou lashed out at her because she kept putting them before her health an she ended up depressed. The two boys didn't want to stress her emotionally so they kept a distance, but would still text her or call her whenever the weekend came around. She noticed that they didn't really come around and that they avoided visiting, but she didn't mind. They probably were too busy with school. She found it hard to deal with but she pulled through.

"Here we are! Let me down please Kenma, I need the key." She laughed as he set her down.
She bent over and rummaged through her bag, forgetting which pocket it was tucked away in. She face palmed and pulled out her cellphone dialing a number.
"Hey, Tsukki! Are you still out and about with Yamaguchi?... Great! Uh can you please- Oh! You already did? Thanks, you're a lifesaver. Bye, I owe you one." She paused before laughing, "Relax Ti-tan-kun! Okay, its fine! Bye Yamaguchi!" She hung up the device and reached in the small gap between the bottom of her door and the floor to find her key wedged underneath. She grinned and unlocked the door, letting her and her two friends in.
"Tsukki? As in Tsukishima Kei? Do you have pet names?" Tetsurou questioned.
"Oh, yeah. He had my key because he was the last one here and they aren't pet names, we just tease each other. He's a nice guy despite his blunt attitude and terrible manners. I admire his honesty though." She smiled and took her bag to her room.
"Why was he here?" Kenma added curiously, slightly jealous of the tall blonde.
Akari dragged them to the lounge and pointed to the mattresses all over the room and sighed.
"They crashed here all week to keep me company. Tsukishima just cleaned my kitchen with Yamaguchi since I cooked for them all week. I was having a pretty rough week, but they cheered me up. Cheered me up and left a mess."
Tetsurou laughed at the girl, she was usually so strict about keeping her living area clean because she hated mess.
"Well, we can help clean up these beds, but we should leave the three singles out so we can all crash out here?" He suggested, sending a wink to Kenma who averted his gaze.
