"In another life, I would be your girl.
We keep all our promises, be us against the world,"

"WAKE UP BITCHES!" Blair's voice hollers, and I hear a loud knock on my door, snapping me out of my sleep.

"Goddammit Blair." I mumble to myself as I sit up. I hear my best friend repeating the same thing to the other's doors and I grumble.

I fish my phone out from underneath my pillow and squint at the screen. 10:00am.

I drag myself to the bathroom and wash up, pulling on a sweater and shorts with flip flops before throwing my hair up in a ponytail and heading downstairs.

Sawyer, Blair, Noah and Danielle were in the kitchen, and I heard Dylan and Sam in the living room with the TV on.

"Where are the others?" I ask, hopping on to a stool by the kitchen island.

"Georgia, Ellie and Aiden are still asleep I guess." Danielle says, and I nod. Blair was helping her make breakfast. Noah hands me a cup of orange juice.

I thank him, and take a sip. I sit up when Aiden walks in, wearing a plain baby blue t-shirt and khaki shorts.

He says good morning to everyone, and walks over to me.

"Good morning." He smiles, and leans down to press a kiss to my lips before casually walking out of the kitchen into the living room like nothing happened.

I freeze, surprised by his actions. My friends were gawking at me, eyes wide and mouths dropped open. I stare back at them, unable to find words.

"Oh. My. God!" Blair is the first to speak, squealing and pointing in the direction Aiden disappeared to. "You! Him! What?"

"Since when?" Danielle demands, turning off the stove and walking over to me, and soon all four of my best friends were surrounding me.

"Well..." I trail off, heat rushing to my cheeks. "Last night. After the barbecue, he took me to this hilltop that looked over the lake. And then we kissed."

A collective gasp emits from my friends, even the boys. I hold back a giggle.

"No way! I knew it!" Blair cheers, and I tell her to hush down.

"We told you to get that rebound and you did." Noah grins, patting my back. "Good job, mate."

I roll my eyes. "He's not a rebound."

After my friends are done interrogating me, Danielle and Blair go back to making breakfast and Sawyer and Noah start planning what to do today and tomorrow.

Aiden, Sam and Dylan walk in from the living room, Georgie and Ellie trailing behind them.
We exchange good morning's before they join us at the kitchen island.

Blair and Danielle pass around plates of waffles, whipped cream and chopped up fruits, before grabbing one for themselves and taking a seat.
