The community bath in the girls dorm is steamy and filled with all my mates. Cana, Wendy, Levy, Erza and Juvia look at me expectantly.
"Well, are we finally getting the dirty details? Tell us, is he as feral in the sheets as he is in battle?" Cana asks waggling her eyebrows and Levy giggles.
"What's your definition of feral?"
"I dunno. Like rough. Sorry girl, he just doesn't give off a passionate lover vibe," she swirls her wine in her class.
"I wouldn't be so sure, remember the grand magic games, who showed up first after that fight with the flame hair girl?" Erza counters in Natsu's defense.
"Or the time he practiced ball room dancing with her even though he hates it," Wendy chimes in.
"And we can't forget the time Natsu uprooted a tree for her. To everyone else he's a monster, but not to her." Juvia finishes.
"He's...hmmm, passionate. Docile. Seductive. Sometimes even a little feral. But mostly he's just wrapped around my finger," I say wiggling my pinky finger.
"So... How did it start? What happened? Who made the first official move?" Levy asks.
"Nobody. I fell. He caught me. We kissed by accident. I got upset when he didn't react much to it. I told him I loved him. He told me that he knew," I started.
"Wait. He said, 'I know'?" Cana asked.
"Yes," I answer chuckling, "he told he didn't finish saying it after Acnologia died because he was waiting for me to know that I loved him too. Little did he know, I did know. I was just scared of how he might react if I said anything," I explain looking away.
"That makes sense. He's not a "bring home flowers" and "hold a boom box out side your window" kind of guy. Besides, you guys have been friends for so long. It makes sense why he hesitated. Why you did too," Wendy says.
"What's important is that it finally happened! So, tell us, what's it like?" Erza pries.
"It's great. He's my best friend. And yeah sometimes he's annoying but, he comforts me. Helps me stay grounded. I thought it would be awkward transitioning from friends to something more, but it felt natural. I guess we were always headed down that road and I just hadn't noticed," I explain.
Their questions died down after that, we moved on to talking about Erza and Jellal. They're looking at getting a place together. Juvia and Gray already have a place, this doesn't surprise me seeing as how they lived together when the guild disbanded.
After our bath, I make my way into the guild hall to meet the latest member Touka, while Natsu runs some errands. By errands, I mean pay the rent because now he has to officially meet the land lady.
Mira and Laxus are talking up a storm to Touka, she's short like Master Mavis and has white hair like Mira. She's cute and seems nice. Everybody is staring at her like she's an alien. It reminds me of when I first joined the guild and how everyone stared at me. I guess there hasn't been a new member since Wendy.
As I walk up to her, her gaze shifts from Laxus to the guild hall's doors. I refocus my gaze and it's Natsu. He smiles at me as our newest guild member tackles him to the ground to give him a passionate kiss.
The entire guild hall is stagnant. I can't process what I've just seen. It doesn't seem real.
"Natsu!" She says excitedly once they sit up.
"Touka hey! It's been a while" he gleams.
My heart sinks to my stomach. She kisses him and he doesn't shove her off. Tell her he's married. She see's his ring right? I'm stunned as I look at them. He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand but otherwise doesn't say anything to her. The only thing that drags me back to reality is Gray's hand on my shoulder. Wow, even Gray knows what he did was wrong. Even if he didn't initiate it, he didn't say anything.
