Getting the Dursley's to get take her to King cross station was a big ask. The only reason that they were taking her was the fact they didn't have to see her till summer or even longer. They had signed a piece of paper to allow anyone else to take guardianship. The Dursley's were explicit about not wanting to see her ever again if she could do it.
After Uncle Vernon chucked her stuff on the pavement, he sped off leaving her to fend for herself. Not expecting anything different. Harrie quickly found a trolley to put her trunk and cat holder on. Then she went towards the platform. Though she was confused at how to find it as 9 3/4 did not exist. Harrie decided there was enough time to see if anyone else came. Luckily only 5 minutes past and a family of redhead came. They were loud and were not discrete at all. Once the 4 boys ran through and the mother and daughter went through, Harrie stood. Gathering her courage, Harrie grabbed her trolley and ran at the wall. When she opened her eyes, she was standing in front of a big red train. Harrie thought it was glorious. Seeing the crowds were becoming thicker, Harrie quickly grabbed her trunk and started to drag it to a compartment. Two of the red-haired boys from before saw her.
They quickly walked up to and grinned. "You need some help?" One asked, Harrie quickly nodded and soon was following them towards an empty compartment. After placing her trunk up top, they introduced themselves "The names Fred" one said "George" continued the other. "Weasley, nice to meet you" they both finished.
Harrie wasn't sure what to do, there stood some older boys smiling at her. She gave them a timid smile and spoke quietly "Harriet Potter but I like Harrie". Their grin widened and then spoke together "Well nice to meet you Harrie. We are going to see our friend Jordan. We'll see you at the welcome feast".
With that she was alone. Getting her books out she started to read, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore. Harrie knew she was great at gardening at home so it should be able to transfer. Harrie had decided she would try here hardest, though she knew she would have to work on her writing.
Harrie was on her way to her new beginning.
