The sword was bulky.
The arrow went farther and flew swifter.
The dagger chipped hidden places.
The spear stood longer and felt lighter.
The staff was firm and woody.
And yet,
The arrow missed the mark.
The dagger-weilder was stabbed quicker.
The spear broke.
The staff didn't kill, and the wielder dies.
The sword was bulky, but held true.
The one with the sword stared in horror at the corpses of the fallen warriors, and wept.
