"jungwon, i told you to eat your veggies." his older brother scold him. they were having lunch at the school's cafeteria.

"heeseung hyung i told you already, i don't like them." he whined.

"what will you eat then?" jungwon pout at this.

his hyung always packs his lunch for him and unfortunate for him, his heeseung hyung just loves making him eat vegetables.

"hyung why won't you let jungwon eat what he wants? come on you always serve him vegetables." sunoo, daniel's cousin, said. "you're no fun heeseung hyung."

"sunoo, jungwon is a growing boy! he needs to eat healthy stuffs."

"i don't see him growing." daniel teased jungwon for being the shortest among the four of them.

jungwon rolled his eyes at him and well... his eyes landed on someone who was walking towards their table.

he starts panicking inside but was acting cool, trying to pretend he didn't just saw jay.

"hey jungwon." oh well won't you look at that. it's jay, with his friends, in front of jungwon's table.

"oh i didn't see you there." jungwon acted surprised. "hey jay hyung."

"i got you something for lunch. i heard you not wanting to eat what your hyung prepared so..." jay notice the glare heeseung was giving him but he ignored them. "... so i got you some pasta."

it wasn't even the first time jay did this for jungwon. he always buys something for jungwon but....

"uwon!" he yelled to capture the younger's attention.

jungwon looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "don't call me that."

"why not? it's cute just like y--"

"just don't."

"oh okay. well i got you this cookies. i heard you love them." he said handing jungwon a cute blue box.

"i'm sorry but--"

"just take it please?"

jungwon felt bad seeing the look on jay's face. so after hesitating for a few second, he grab the box. mumbling a thank you before walking towards daniel who was waiting for him.

"daniel have this cookies instead. i'm not into sweets these days so you can have them."

jay saw what happened but he still smiled. at least jungwon accepted his cookies.

"how can you even smile after seeing the person you like give someone else the cookie you bought him?" sunghoon let out a sigh, feeling bad for his friend.

"jungwon is just.... being nice. daniel was probably hungry."

"you didn't have to hyung. i'm not even hungry."

"come on, it's okay. i'd do anything for my future boyfriend." jay said with a smirk.

"he's future what?" heeseung almost choke on his water upon hearing this while jay's friends were trying to hold in their laugh.

"that was so corny." jake whispered to sunghoon.

"i guess that's what love makes you."

"so you're only doing this because you're trying to impress me and not because you're just being nice?" jungwon said sounding upset. he wasn't actually upset but well he just really don't wanna do anything with jay.

"uhm kind of? but i can do this for others too. i just figured that--"

"thanks for the concern but you can keep that." jungwon said without even eyeing jay.

jay, defeated, walked away with his friends tailing behind him.

"jungwon that was rude of you." heeseung said.

"agree. you could've just accepted the pasta." sunoo said feeling bad for jay.

"i don't even wanna get close to him, let alone receive pasta from him."

"why won't you give him a chance? he likes you since last year and is trying his best to get your attention." sunoo said.

"he's not someone i wanted to be in a relationship with. he's dumb and only thinks of himself."

"come on! what if he isn't what you think he is?" heeseung nudge his younger brother.

"no. i won't give a chance to someone who tried to impress me with a toaster! as if i don't know how to use one. see? he's dumb and full of himself." jungwon was starting to get annoyed now.

that's what jay always makes him feel. he always feels annoyed because of him.

"well what if--"

"sunoo hyung cut it off." daniel cuts in. "if he doesn't like jay then he doesn't. end of story."

there sunoo starts to wonder. why does his cousin sound more annoyed than jungwon was?
