jay was confuse why daniel wants to meet with him. he should be hanging out with his friends right now but he was really curious on how daniel could help him.

he's admitting that he is desperate right now. it might be the last straw for jungwon to like him.

he was only expecting to see daniel but to his surprise, the guy wasn't alone. he has jungwon with him who was also surprised to see him.

"finally you're here hyung. i said 3PM but you're late!" daniel nag at him.

"i was only late for 5 minutes." jay defended himself before looking at jungwon.

jungwon was looking elsewhere tho. he was trying to avoid looking at jay. he starts to feel nervous, he could feel his hands shaking a bit.

"hey jungwon." jay greeted him making him more nervous.

he hesitated but end up looking back at the older anyway. "hey jay hyung. uh didn't see you there." he wanted to facepalm so bad.

didn't see you there? seriously jungwon!

he also let out a smile which looks like a grimace since he was trying so hard.

daniel let out a laugh. "the two of you are so awkward."

jungwon glared at him. "daniel what are you planning?"

"hm i'm planning to buy an ice cream over there!" daniel innocently said, ignoring the piercing gaze of his friend, as he points a ice cream truck nearby. "so i'm gonna leave the both of you for awhile." he didn't even wait for the two to reply, he just suddenly ran off.

now it was just jungwon and jay, standing awkwardly beside each other.

jay cleared his throat. not being able to deal with the quietness and and awkwardness anymore.

"let's sit? here's a bench just behind us."

"uh yes of course."

so they did sat beside each other... and damn i don't really know how to describe what's happening to them right now. it's just really awkward!

"so how are you?" jay asked.

"i'm doing fine. how about you?"

"i've been missing you." jay straightout answered, surprising jungwon again.

"w-what?" he stutters. "stop messing with me. i know you're lying."

"but i'm not."

"if you do miss me then you'll be like... like before!"

"what do you mean by before?"

jungwon was to nervous to speak but he keeps on going anyway despite stuttering from time to time.

"you used to give me attention every chance you can get. but now whenever we passed by each other, it's like i'm nothing to you now! you can't even glance at me!"

"who said i wasn't looking at you? i always steal a glance from you every chance i get. also you think you're nothing to me now? i should be the one feeling that way with you. jungwon you've always been my everything."

"then tell me why did you suddenly stop? is it because you have someone else now?" jungwo's voice was starting to rise.

"someone else? you're the only one."

"liar!" okay now jungwon was yelling. "when nicholas hyung came is when you started to stop. it's because you found someone better than me!"

"nicholas is just a friend." jay was also feeling frustrated because he was confused why jungwon was acting like he was so upset seeing him with someone else.

jungwon doesn't like him, right? then why is he seeing him like this?

"the reason why i stop is not because i don't have feelings for you anymore. i was just scared that the more i try to have you, the more you slip away from me. you find me annoying, a disturbance. you think that doesn't hurt me? i hate making you feel that way so i just stopped."

the both of them went quiet after that. the younger of the two started to feel guilty.

he realized just now how much he's been hurting the older.

"i'm sorry jay hyung." he said, almost a mumble.

"it's okay now. i understand that i can really be annoying."

"but i'm also at fault. i can reject you nicely but i--"

"why do you always reject me? why can't you give me a chance?"

jungwon stared at him for a few second, finding the right words to say before letting out a sigh.

"i'm scared too. scared that what if one day you'll just leave me because you got sick of me. i'm afraid of people leaving me. and also what if you find someone better?"

jay let out a chuckle. "i understand you for having that thoughts but jungwon give me a chance. i got a lot of options out there but i still choose to go after you, someone who keeps pushing me away. haven't you realized how crazy i am for you?"

hearing that makes jungwon heart flutters and felt assured for a bit.

"you're crazy for me? should i be concerned?" he teased the older to lighten up the mood.

"you clearly know what i mean."

they went quiet again. jungwon thinking while jay was just simply enjoying being this close with him.

he was actually glad everything was sorted out... well kind of sorted out.

"hey hyung..." jungwon spoke breaking the silent between them. "you can uhm... i'm asking you to court me."

jay's face lit up. "what? does that mean you're finally giving me a chance? do you have feelings for me too now?" you can clearly hear the excitement from his voice.

"woah calm down hyung!" jungwon giggled. "yes, i am. so don't waste this chance i'm giving you."

"of course i won't. i'll do everything just to make you mine and you won't regret it."

i don't know if i'm gonna end this soon. i actually just finished typing the ending in my drafts. guess how many chapters left ><
