louis, eleanor and katie weren't allowed into the stadium whilst they did sound check, instead they waited in the stadium VIP cafe, as the screams outside got louder as more people arrived.

'i'm nervous. harry said his family are front row, and were front row too.' louis said anxiously, as they started packing up to head to their seats.

'don't worry. harrys met your mum and sisters, only fair that you meet his.' eleanor said, finishing off her coffee.

'i guess.' louis sighed, wiping off his clothes as they stood up, after being called over by paul who would lead them to the seats.

as soon as the stadium was in sight, they could see thousands upon thousands of people in the large arena, waiting to see one directions annual christmas eve performance.

'follow me, stay close, okay? don't want ya getting hurt. harry would kill me.' paul laughed as they made their way past a barrier and into the front row area which was cordoned off from the rest of the seats.

that's when louis laid eyes upon the female version of harry. his mum.

'mrs styles! lovely to see you again!' paul shouted over the thousands of shouting fans. 'paul! my gosh i haven't seen you in forever!' she said, standing up off of her seat and giving the man a hug.

'you must be louis! i'm anne, harry's mum.' anne said cheerfully, giving louis a tight hug. 'he's told me so much about you, love. all good things, don't worry!' she said, as another girl stood up.

'hi! i'm gemma. harrys brother. just saying if you hurt him i will chop off your-'

'gemma! that's enough. sit down.' anne scowled at her oldest child. 'sorry about her. overprotective sister!' anne laughed, sitting down and offering louis the seat next to her, as katie and el admired the large arena.

'is this your first time?' anne asked referencing to the concert. 'yeah. i don't tend to listen to much modern pop. but from what i've heard harry and the rest of the boys have got amazing voices.' louis spoke truthfully.

'i'm not sure if it's just my proud mother mode speaking, but i've always known our harry would go far. he's got such a beautiful voice. so do the rest of them, i'm so proud.' she said, sighing happily looking at the stage where the boys would be in a few minutes.

whilst louis and anne were chatting a little more, louis telling anne about his mother and sisters, and how he met harry, the final fans were finding their seats.

that's when the lights turned off, it was pitch black. everyone screamed because this indicated the start of the show.

eleanor and katie held eachother close and jumped up and down like thirteen year old fan girls. at heart they really were thirteen year old fan girls.

'If this room was burning
I wouldn't even notice
'Cause you've been taking up my mind
With your little white lies, little white lies.'
