Chapter 6

 Lab Rats

Valentine asked "What was that?!", "Why did you do that?!", so the Doctor called Dr. Woods said "We have done this same test to many people", "It tests people and sees what they can take and are they able to find a way out and leave", so Dr. Woods said "You were fast", "You were there 4 months, but really it's been 2 months only". Then a man in suit walked in to the room. He said "Good game", clapped his hands and said "I lead this place", "My name is Lucas", so Hyper looked around and asked "Where are my soldiers?", so Lucas said "We have been using them to test different things" and soon the room in front of them that had a door shut, a weird human monster mutant creature slammed against the thick glass door and Hyper recognized him from his tattoo on his arm. He looked shocked and asked "What did you do to them?!", so Lucas said "Experiemented!" and Ludwig asked "Does my girlfriend and son from the simulator exist in any form?", so Lucas said "No they didn't really exist", so Ludwig broke into tears. Valentine felt huge sadness. She just got her dead daughter back, but now she is gone again. Amanda also had a hard time processing that her pregnancy and boyfriend aren't really here. Lucas said to Dr. Woods, "Take the first one", so he said "Yes, sir" and untied Amanda and the soldiers carried her forcefully to another room. 

She was too exhausted and shocked to start getting crazy, so she just walked. Ray yelled "Hey, where are you taking her?!", so Lucas said "Did you forget that you are lab rats?", so Valentine asked "Why do you have to do this!?", but he didn't answer and just left. They put Amanda into a chair and tied her on it. Amanda asked "What are you gonna do?!" and she saw weird human animal mutants in the room, so she looked shocked as Dr. Woods put a needle into her arm. Ludwig looked like he had lost it and he yelled "We shouldn't have left!", so Olivia said "We would have still been here, our bodies I mean", so Xavier said "Yeah, but they said that the game ended when we got out", "What if we hadn't", so Izzy said "The place had it's bad sides", so Omar nodded and Xavier said "But blowing the town with some not wanting to leave wasn't nice", so Olivia said "I thought about everyones best", so Yolanda said "Even though, I stayed", "I can see why you did", so Apollo said "Yeah, we shouldn't argue about it anymore", but Ludwig got mad and said "Olivia, it was you!", "You murdered my family!", so Olivia said "Ludwig, I couldn't let you get attached to some virtual world, when there is a real world too, sorry", so he still looked angry. Ray asked Princess "Are you Okay?", so she said "I'm just sad", "It was our sanctuary". Pink asked Bowser "Sorry that I forced you out", "Will you forgive me?", so he looked a bit salty, but said "Fine", "It doesn't feel too different here anyway". Valentine said "Now we must forget the past and focus on the future", so Joey asked "How do we get out?", so Xavier said "Good fucking question".

Inside the lab, Amanda was crying while she was going through some symptoms and suddenly she started to cough badly, so Dr. Woods said to Lucas "It's starting!", so Lucas smiled and watched the process. About an hour later Dr. Woods said "It's ready!" and looked at his creation proudly. He said "Let's let her friends see". Amanda didn't know what she looked like. She felt heavier, was blind and wasn't in control of her body, so something else was in control. She was taken to the others and everyone got scared of the sight. Valentine cryingly said "Amanda?". Amanda looked like a human animal monster mutate with very little left to recognize her past self. Ray yelled "What did you do to her?!", so Dr. Woods said "We tested the latest mutation", "But it seems like it didn't work compeletely". A tear was coming from mutated Amanda's eye as something was controlling her body. Dr. Woods said "This one goes away", so One of the soldiers stepped forwards and shot mutated Amanda in the head, while her friends yelled "No!". Dr. Woods said "Tomorrow we will take the next one" and left. Andrew said "We can't die here!", so Valentine said "We have to get the hell out of here". 

At Jungor's camp, things were going pretty normal. Wexer walked to Wise Old Man and said "Morning" and bowed. He nodded and said "God has revealed that Ben has a bigger purpose", so Wexer curiously asked "What is it?", so he said "I don't know yet" and said "Start test number 2", "Bring him to his Father again", "He should pass", so Wexer nodded. Wexer walked to Ben and told him to go again. Winston was tied up still in the tree house and he was slowly going mad. He was speaking to himself "I need to", "I need to get out", "We need to get out" and the room filled with light as Wexer opened the door. Wexer said "You get 2 minutes again", so he looked hopeful and when he saw Ben walk into the room he said "Son, I have something to tell" and looked as Wexer closed the door. Now that no one else was listening, so Winston said "Come closer", so Ben said "I don't know you", but he came and Winston started "Ben, you and your Father need to survive" "Baby I cant come, but you and Dad have to go!", "We will always be together!", "Remember that!", so a cold wave went through Ben's body and he started to gain small pieces of memories and Winston kissed him in the forehead, like her Mother did when they met the last time. 

Ben got vision of his Mother kissing his forehead and then guards taking him and his Father away. Then Winston said "Then we were sent to Planet Newes", so Ben's head started to fill with memories and he asked "Dad?", so he smiled and nodded. Ben jumped towards his Father and hugged him while crying. Winston said "I knew I would get you back, son", so he said "What will they do to you", so Winston said "I don't know", "You have to play that you are still like you were", "I will plan something", so he nodded, wiped his tears and walked to the door and when Wexer opened the door, Wexer opened it and Ben said "I'm ready, Sir!", so he said "Good". Winston said "Phew" with relieve and said to himself "I will get us out". He had been trying to break free and had weakened the ropes, but it hurt his wrists. It was the next morning in the mysterious underground facility and it was time for the next one. They knew that the next one was one of the ones, who lost the game. Dr. Woods came with Lucas and this time Lucas's daughter. She looked uncomfortable like she didn't want to be there.

Lucas said "This is my Daughter, Rachael" and said "She will be helping us today", so she looked quilty to the ground. Lucas said "Take that one", so Dr. Woods nodded and freed Ludwig from the chair, while the soldiers took him. Ludwig tried to escape and yelled "No!", "Let go!", but they carried him to the room. Ray and Omar were crying. Their best friend was taken to the same place where Amanda was mutated. This could be the last time they ever see each other. Ludwig was taken to this weird invisible box, where you are supposed to put your legs. Dr. Woods looked at Ludwig and said "If you are lucky, then nothing happens", "That box is full of Zuxer insects, that we mutated to eat flesh", so ludwig looked pure terrified and asked "What?!", so Dr. Woods said "I wish you luck" and nodded to the guards, so they forced Ludwig's legs into the box. Lucas said to his daughter "You can spread the insects", so she nodded. Ludwig tried to beg "Please, don't do this!", but she looked sad, said "I'm sorry" and put the insects inside the box and Ludwig started to say "Oh god, oh god!" out of fear. Few seconds later he started to feel painful bites all over his legs, so he started to scream loud. Dr. Woods said with a smile to Lucas "It worked" and he smiled back. The insects had opened Ludwig's legs badly, but suddenly stopped. They had enough, so Dr. Woods said "You are lucky they stopped", "You legs though", "We are gonna have to amputate them", so Ludwig looked shocked and asked "What?!", so Dr. Woods put a anesthezia needle in to his neck and said "I will start it". Little later ludwig was carried back to his place. When his friends saw him without his legs, they were shocked. Ray yelled "What did you do to him?!", so Dr. Woods said "We had to cut his legs, but he survived", so Xavier looked stressed and said "At least he survived". 

Then they said "That was so quick, so we will take the next one right away", so they took Apollo while Yolanda shouted "No, Apollo!", "Don't take him!", so she cried as they dragged him away. Dr. Woods accidentally dropped a vaccine to the floor and Ray noticed it and was able to reach it, so he hid it to his pocket. Apollo was taken to a room where there was this machine, that would shoot electricity into the body. Apollo asked "What is this machine?", so Dr, Woods said "We're testing if you can take the electricity" and put him inside. As the machine started to rumble, it sounded like the earthquake, so this time Apollo didn't just feel something, but actually saw visions. He saw the stormy ocean again and this time heard "Be fast", so he looked confused and the electricity started to shoot into his body, while he screamed in pain. After he was taken out, he was still alive, but very weak, so he fell to the ground. Dr. Woods said "He is strong", "I'm surprised he survived!", so Lucas nodded and said "Then let's take him back", so they did. They had to carry him, because he was passed out. As they carried him back, Yolanda asked "Is he Okay?!", so Dr. Woods said "He survived", "Next morning is this man's turn" and pointed at Xavier, so he looked scared and gulped.
